Botafogo vs Seattle Sounders FC Highlights | FIFA Club World Cup 2025
Welcome to the sights and sounds of Seattle, Washington
as Botafogo and locals Seattle Sounders enter the action.
Artur sliding it through, Igor Jesus.
Well, the door was closed emphatically by a terrific challenge from Kim Kihi
who wanted the ball back and then wanted a little piece of Artur and that was ill-advised at best.
And a shove which, as we'll see from here, was right under the referee's nose.
That's the kind of incident where the referee cam really comes into its own.
Into the mix, into the net and Botafogo into the lead.
In a flash, the FIFA Club World Cup comes alive for Botafogo.
And the header is well fought for and in it goes.
No surprise, it's Igor Jesus right on half time.
A textbook header.
Here they go, into their stride.
Stefan Frey just managed to put up the shutters and keep Botafogo at bay.
Alex Roldan looks for Ferreira and now Rusnak.
And somehow they get it out.
It was John who threw himself at it.
Artur Cabral.
Oh and it's in. Christian Roldan.
Seattle Sounders needed that.
Oh Rusnak, what can he do here?
It's repelled.
De la Vega and John plunges on the ball and there it is.
The end of the game.
Botafogo 2, Seattle Sounders 1.
