We Rent a Motorhome in CANADA: Medicine Hat to Dinosaur Provincial Park | British Vanlife Couple Join us, a British couple on an epic 5-week Canadian road trip, as we explore Alberta in our rented motorhome! In this episode, we travel from the scenic Elkwater Campground to the fascinating Dinosaur Provincial Park, stopping at some incredible and historic places along the way. Our first stop is Medicine Hat, Alberta, where we visit the Visitor Information Centre and the iconic World’s Tallest Teepee – a must-see Canadian roadside attraction! We also share a personal moment at the Sin Bin, an infamous drinking spot once frequented by British soldiers stationed and exercising at BATUS (British Army Training Unit Suffield). Although it's now closed, Gary reminisces about his time there during his Army service. Next, we visit Suffield and Ralston, home of British Forces Canada and BFBS Canada, offering a unique look into the British military presence in Canada. We then journey to the stunning Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its badlands and rich dinosaur fossil beds. We explore scenic walking trails, take in the breathtaking landscapes, and spend the night camping right in the heart of this prehistoric wonderland. Finally, we head to Gleichen, where we enjoy a peaceful night of boondocking.
