One day in the jungle, a rabbit saw a tortoise walking very slow.
The rabbit thinks that he is the fastest in the jungle and makes fun of the tortoise for being slow.
Hey buddy, will you compete with me in the race?
Let us see who wins the race.
Yes, I will compete with you in the race.
Let us see who wins the race.
The rabbit thinks that he can easily win this race since he runs faster than the tortoise.
They both fix a day for the race. They mark a starting and a finishing point for the race.
On the day of the race, the rabbit and the tortoise come at the starting point and the race starts.
The rabbit ran really fast and left the tortoise far behind.
Rabbit runs at full speed, leaving the tortoise behind.
He decides to take rest under the tree for a while.
The rabbit goes off to sleep while the tortoise continues walking at his own pace and crosses the rabbit.
After some time, the rabbit wakes up and realises that the tortoise has crossed him and is about to reach the finish point.
Rabbit gets back on the track and again starts running at full speed to cross the finish line first.
In spite of being slow, the tortoise wins the race, defeating the rabbit, who was behind.
The rabbit was too confident about his speed and used to make fun of the tortoise for being slow.
Moral of the story, slow and steady wins the race.
