Jing, guess what? I signed up for the talent show.
No way, you! But you always say you get stage fright.
I do, but I'm trying something new this year. I'm going to sing.
Wow, that's brave. I can't even speak in front of the class without shaking like a jelly bean.
I'll probably shake too, but my grandma said, do it scared, just don't miss out.
That's actually pretty cool. So, what song?
Count on me by Bruno Mars.
Oh, I love that song, especially the part about friendship.
Yep, and guess what? I was hoping he would sing it with me.
Me? Lisa, I sound like a squeaky mouse.
So? Mice can be adorable and musical. Come on, it's not about being perfect, it's about having fun, together.
Hmm, what if we mess up?
Then we mess up in style and we laugh and maybe eat ice cream after.
Okay, but only if I get chocolate chip.
Deal. Let's practice after school.
Let's do it.
Get ready stage, Lisa and Jane are coming.
Ready or not, here we squeak, I mean sing.
