Mrs. Nabors and her class of kindergarteners had finished their morning’s work and tasks when she remembered that she hadn’t checked the book bags of her students yet.
That morning in particular, and for some odd reason, she felt that something was off. When she searched her pupil’s bags, she found the usual stuff, school-related items, and the occasional items of food meant to be inside a lunch bag. However, she noticed one of her students looking a little shifty when she was going through his classmates’ bags.
Nowadays, many schools conduct bookbag checks. The reason behind this check is mainly for security purposes, in the dangerous times we live in.
