Rudbeckia (A): A flower found in French embroidery

Hello, I'm a embroidery teacher, Hoani.
Today, I'm going to make a flower pattern with Ludbeckia.
There are only two colors for the flowers on this side.
Still, the reason why the petals look three-dimensional is because the color ratio is different for each petal.
From now on, when you look at the screen, I want you to continue by looking at the ratio of color mixing, direction of filling, and texture.
First of all, I filled in a few leaves in front of me.
I'm going to do the rest, but I'm going to start with gray.
When you fill the cotton with Long & Short technique, set a large direction in advance and fill the cotton.
I'm going to fill the cotton with long and short stitches.
I don't want to have a lot of long stitches because it's a curve here.
I'm going to come out of the thread and fill the next layer.
I'm going to change the color now.
I'm going to mix a little bit of gray and put it in a dark color.
I'm going to fill the rest with dark colors.
Today, I made a Ludbeckia flower pattern.
Especially when I filled the flower part, I made a long video.
Long & Short is a fun technique that can be expressed in a variety of ways depending on how you set the direction and how you mix the colors.
So I especially like this technique.
I'll show you a lot of flowers that are used in this Long & Short technique.
I'll see you next time.
This has been a embroidery teacher, Hooa.
