Hey guys, a couple of our patrons have been asking how Tiger has been doing at the old Japanese farmhouse.
So the answer is he's been spoilt rotten and he's doing really well.
So those who haven't heard this story before, this guy was dumped in a garbage bag when he was about
four or five months old. So he had a pretty hard start for life and then we got him through a
brought him back here to the old farmhouse and he's been living a life of luxury like a king.
Everybody spoils him. This climby thing that used to be for kids has now become for him.
He climbs all over it, loves it, plays with everything he can find. In his mind he's a big game hunter.
He's doing well, he's doing well. He's got a variety of toys including this unicorn.
He steals toys from the kids rooms. He finds things he likes in the kids rooms and steals them
and everybody's too soft so we let him have them. He's pretty good, pretty good cat, been behaving
himself, pretty well house trained, pretty quiet most of the time. Sometimes in the middle of the
night he gets a bit lonely and walks around meowing for company but usually he's pretty good.
Under watch isn't that? The unicorn and he's got his carrot. Not a real carrot, it's a stuffed carrot.
So the house now is scattered with these little toys all over the
place that he plays with on that yellow thing whatever that is.
So you get the idea, you get the idea those two guys have been worried about him.
Oh this is an odd thing, we had to take him to the vet just for a check and the vet insists he put
him in these bags. Japanese people often use these bags to put delicate things in the washing machine
and the vet said that we had to bring him inside one of these bags, so in the box, so inside that
bag in the box and they insist if you take a cat to the vet that's what you're going to do. So I'm
not sure if all vets do that but never had to do that in Australia but apparently it's a thing here.
So he did it, he was all right, we looked after him, he was okay but yeah didn't feel right sticking
him in a box. Loving his catio, the weather's nice now so he spends a lot of time in his catio in and
out. Hear him coming and going from the catio all the time. Sleeps in there, sleeps on that box there,
sleeps up on the shelf on that blanket, sleeps in his box. Loves it out there. Now and again there's
a couple other stray cats around the place that come visit him. You hear them talking in the
middle of the night. So yeah, loves the catio and still really curious about the hamster.
Don't need to blame stuff. Yeah, won't be letting him play with the hamster anytime soon.
Not after seeing what he does with those stuffed toys. Anyway, that's how he's doing,
those two guys that were asking, that's how he's doing, he's doing all right. More videos coming soon.
