Perhaps his most famous painting is "Christina's World", which you can see at about 3.05. It depicts Anna Christina Olson, who lost the use of her legs in her early thirties due to a degenerative muscular condition. Rather than use a wheelchair, she would crawl around her house and the surrounding area, a study in determination and indomitability.
