All-New Ford Transit Custom Nugget | Walkaround

Whether for short weekend trips or long European travels, camper vans have become more and more popular in the recent years. My name is Monika Wagner. I'm a real nugget enthusiast and I'm here today to introduce the all-new Ford Nugget and I will be joined by another nugget enthusiast. I'd like to introduce and welcome Timo Itzold. Yeah, thanks Monika. Thanks for having me. So I'm Timo Itzold. I'm a nugget driver since 2007. I own several nugget groups and I just can't wait to see the all-new Nugget. Shall we have a look? Yeah. Okay. So Timo, this beautiful innovative interior design is actually based on our all-new Ford Torneo interior. I really like it. It's awesome. And in particular that big 13-inch touch screen. This is really, really awesome. Really great, yeah. But what really, really, really excites me is this easy walkthrough because you don't have the handbrake anymore. Nothing, nothing disturbing, nothing in between. Sitting here, it feels so comfortable. I would like to have a drive now. I couldn't agree more. So let's have a look into the interior. Ah, yes. Yeah, so we have a lower step as you can see. Oh, it's light, yes. Yeah, and it's particularly helpful if the vehicle is higher due to the surface. For the kids, easier to get. For the kids, for my dog. An easy sliding rear seat. Yeah. Just so easy. It's awesome here. And in addition, it's heated. It's a heated seat, so it means you have a heated bed as well. And then we have some additional charging points. Charging points, yes. Loudspeakers for the rear passengers. Exactly. So like the old Nuggets have three seats, we have the kitchen in the back, it's all Nuggets. And one really smart thing is how the outdoor table has been integrated. This is really cool. Yeah, it's now inside the door. Yeah, I can show you. So, Monika, we are on the back of the Nugget, the new Nugget, and what's really cool here in the tailgate, we have integrated camping seats. That is really cool because you never knew what to do with the chairs and now they're super integrated. It's a very cool feature now. Absolutely. Yeah, I also love these picnic lights. You can adjust them here. Yeah, you turn them on over here and when you sit here, it gives a nice, cozy, ambient lighting, so to speak. And what we have here is a shower, the outdoor shower, also with hot water. And the hot water now is standard. We had it before, optional, but now it's standard. This is very cool. Absolutely. Yeah, so now the kitchen. The kitchen. It's still the same kitchen as we got used to in the Nugget, in the previous Nugget. How we love our Nugget. With an all-new design, so the drawers now on the left side are even bigger. Yeah. What we have here is the fridge. As a drawer. Yeah, and very, very cool features now that the gas is located here. Just pull it out, get a new one. It's just, that's very nice. And so here, you can put on the ladder now, on both things. Yeah, what I can see from here very good is the double-size touchscreen, which looks really cool, where you can control everything. Yes. And the other new feature is actually that you can connect it to your smartphone. Yeah, to your mobile. Via Bluetooth, exactly. And you can steer everything from your mobile. What is a very cool feature. Comfortable, absolutely. Yeah, so Timo, what I think is a real relief are these pull-up lines. Indeed, indeed. Yeah, we have them everywhere. They are so easy to handle and I love them. Yeah, this was a self-folding roof. This is a very, very cool new feature, because we have a new fabric. This is nearly self-folding, so it's much easier to handle the roof. Yeah. Which is very cool. One cool feature is the 5G modem, a hotspot, which is standard on the new Nugget. Yeah. So, it means hotspot for everyone, but I think my children would love it. Yeah, and I think what underlines this living room feeling a little bit more now, I think, are the materials and the colors and this kind of oak-looking floor. And one very new optional feature, I think, are the solar panels. Oh, yes, indeed. On the top. Yeah, 350 watts. Yeah, so you can operate your fridge and everything else, I guess. All the electric. Yeah, cool. It's amazing. Okay, Timo. Yes. How did you like it? Yeah, the new Nugget is really, really awesome. They did a really good job. Ford on its side, on the base model. Yeah. And Westfalia, with all the camping stuff. I just can't wait to show it to the community, the all-new Nugget. I think the people will really love it. Yeah. Yes. I will also tell you a secret now. We will also electrify the powertrain, so we will also offer it as a plug-in hybrid and as an all-wheel drive. How is that? I think the people will love it. Yes, absolutely.
