In today's video, I'm going to show you how I update my iPhone 12 Pro to the latest iOS 26. We'll walk through the entire process step by step, and I'll also highlight some of the exciting new features that come with this update. If you've been curious about iOS 26 and whether it's worth upgrading, stick around and let's explore it together. Now, let's go ahead and check for the latest software update. First, open your settings, then head over to general, and finally, tap on software update. I've already enabled the beta profile. I'm able to find the latest update right here. Don't worry if you're not a beta tester just yet. I'm here to show you exactly how you can access and get beta updates on your device. It's easier than you think and I'll walk you through the whole process step by step. This iPhone doesn't have the beta profile installed yet, but no worries. Let me show you software update section so you can easily get started. I currently have the public version of iOS 18 installed on my iPhone. To create an iOS developer profile, open Safari and search for sign up for Apple developer. This will take you to the page where you can register. Firstly, Apple releases the developer version before the public beta version, which is why we need to create a developer profile on Apple's website to access it. If we create a beta profile through Apple Beta, sometimes we'll need to wait until they release the beta version before we can access it. After clicking the enroll button, you'll be directed to the user agreement page where you can review and accept the terms to gain access. If you're not signed in with Safari using your Apple ID, they'll prompt you to sign in. However, I've already signed into Safari with my Apple ID. After agreeing to the terms, they'll ask a few simple questions for the next step, but it's easy to complete. Once done, you'll see that your developer profile is complete. Now, let's go ahead and check if the beta update is available in the iPhone's software update section. This will show us whether the latest beta version is ready for installation. Now, we can see that the beta update is available here. Let's go ahead and check the latest version of iOS 26 to see what's new. Now, I'm switching to my iPhone 12 Pro to start the installation of the beta update. I don't recommend installing beta updates on your main device, as beta versions can sometimes cause issues or damage to your phone. Before you install a beta version, make sure to back up your iPhone to avoid any potential data loss. The update is over 8 GB in size, so let's dive in and take a closer look at what's included in this beta update. We'll explore the new features and changes it brings. Now, when you tap the six dots on the screen, you'll notice a larger, more intuitive set of camera options. This makes it easier to switch between different modes and settings. With a new layout and the easier access to camera modes, it definitely looks like Apple is making the experience smoother and more intuitive. Now, we can now see a liquidlike interface when switching between image, video, and other modes. The transitions are smooth and fluid, giving the camera app a modern and dynamic feel. Now we can see a new icon named games. This addition makes it easier to access all your gaming content in one place. Now we can customize app icons without displaying their names. This allows for a cleaner, more personalized home screen with just the icons you want to showcase. However, customizing app icons without names makes the icons larger. While this gives a cleaner look, it also takes up more space on your home screen. Keep in mind, this is still a beta update, so not all the new features may appear just yet.
