❄Pacers at Thunder Game 1: The Movie

He takes his time. He goes. He's not afraid of the moment. He is the moment. It certainly didn't feel to me like it was something where we were just going to be happy to be here in the NBA Finals. And that's how we've got to approach this. It's great to be here, but we don't want to just be here. They're so fired up, you get goosebumps just when you walk on the floor for Game 1. This is exciting. This is what every player dreams about. Douglas Alexander splits the defense inside. Steps away, fires, made away, 12-foot jumper, rips the wall. Comes flying in. Dorn knocks down another three. He's got five threes. Down the line, Holmgren is free. Big two-hand rim rocker. Four seconds. SGA against Shepherd. Puts up a three. Pushes in! Their defense comes against Norman. It's like they have six guys out there on defense. Stolen by Williams. A turnover and a costly run. As Jalen Williams throws it down. Largest lead of the game. Timeout, Indiana. Thunder by 15, their largest lead off of their 24th takeaway. Dump hot. Six in the corner. Timeout, Pastres. 9.42 to play. Nembhard working off a top and screen. The shot clock at 10. Got down the right side. Nearly tied up by Caruso. Laid it in. Andrew, the foul. Jimwall gets inside. Back out. Albi top of three-pointer. Got it. Albi top it again. His fourth three-pointer of the game. Miles Turner from downtown. His first three-pointer. And it's right back to eight. Top of the three-pointer. Puts it in. Albi top of his fifth three-pointer. Turner sidesteps. Banks in the three. Miles Turner. Right now, OKC clinging to a four-point lead here in game one of the finals. Layup backshot's good. SGA the drive. SGA the finish. Nismith. Dribbles it. Rattles it home. Nismith with his third three-pointer. Every time OKC gets a little breathing room, the Pacers have an answer. Nembhard steps back. Three-pointer. Got it. Three-pointer from Nembhard. Three-point game with 1.59 remaining. Tried to tell you, this is a 48-minute team. It doesn't matter if the turnovers, he's shooting. He's doing well. Oh, what a rejection from Lou Doherty. Off the center field. Down the lane on Popham. Lays it up. And lays it in. Thunder clinging to this three-point lead. SGA the drive. Inside. Shot blocked. Siakam throws it back. Under a minute to go in the fourth quarter. 1.10, 1.07. Nembhard working Wallace. He'll launch a three and leave it short. Rebound. Siakam. It's a one-point game as he lays it off the right-hand glass. Gildas Alexander spins. Pulls up. Jumper. Off the mark. Won't go. Rebound. Nismith. The Pacers with a chance to win it. Final seconds. No fouls to give. Halliburton looking. Halliburton driving. Pulls up. Jump shot. It's gone. It's gone. Tyrese Halliburton does it again. Off the game. Three-tenths of a second to go. How many more times can this team do that? And Indiana takes game one. Jocking the Thunder here at OKC. The comeback hits do it again. What a victory for the Pacers as Tyrese Halliburton's heroics take center stage. One down. One down, baby. One down. One down. One down, baby. We always have faith. We don't back down. Just keep playing until the end, man. It's not over until it's over.
