What's up throttle? Do you want to see what happens when you take a daily driver and push it over 700
horsepower? Well keep on watching as today you're in for a ride. Hi I'm Nadine, the co-founder of
Throttle and today I'm here in Phoenix with my buddy Alex. Hi Nadine, how are you? Pretty good
thanks. Make sure that you check out Alex's other video when he talks about how Stratton Motor Cars
redid a whole Lambo wrap and it's absolutely insane. But in the meantime let's talk to Alex
Yep this is the daily driver I have also used as a shop car and we play around with all different
wraps and materials and modifications but we'll go through a little bit and you'll notice that
some of the accents on this car down on the front, the rear, the door handles are actually the same
material that was on the Lambo and that's what kind of inspired it to do it. So we had this
already on our car and got a customer to kind of do us all better. So obviously you're a performance
tuning company what did you do? So this has a stage two tune it has catless downpipes,
deleted the resonator so just straight through exhaust, upgraded spark plugs,
it's got a chiller system if you zoom in right here you'll see it mounted in there.
Oh wow. So under the hood this looks like a completely stock AMG engine that's because
visually it pretty much is. Yeah. You'll notice that it's got some insulating on this hose this
is a fluid return line after it cools down the air charge from the turbos and that actually takes
the liquid and the low pressure line from the air conditioning system and freezes a block that the
fluid goes through. So here in Arizona 115 degrees out. Which is why it was still 80 in the car. It
was still 80 degree temperatures while we were cruising around that's correct. So stock wise the
S model what can it do from 0 to 60? It's about a mid three second car 0 to 60 depending on the
of course conditions and the video that it's in but this is capable and there's been plenty of
them out there that have done 3.0 flat anywhere from like 2.9 to 3.1, 0 to 60. Wow. Depends on
launch conditions all that but it is capable of that. My love for cars started at a very young age
my mom told me the second word that came out of my mouth was car. I've been around a lot of cool
cars growing up, family, brothers, dad, everybody was kind of into it but yeah as a kid I was around
a lot of different classic Mustangs and stuff so the E63 to me is kind of a balance between
the ultimate performance that Mercedes has to offer mixed with comfort. I mean it's a big sedan
you can fit five people in it comfortably. It still has a lot of aggressive sport to it but
the E63 is generally going to be the highest output engine they have at the time. It's going
to be a little more aggressive than the C63s or the heavier S63s. There's fast cars out there
but to say that they perform on the level they do weighing 4,500 pounds is kind of cool. Being
able to take down some serious fast cars in a big body car like this is a lot of fun.
My favorite thing about this car in particular is the sound of the exhaust.
So you get a lot of turbo noise you can hear the spool up you can hear the
spool down and for running factory mufflers it's pretty loud so it puts a lot of smiles
on people's faces to see this big sedan going down the street sounding the way it does.
Alex, I've had so much fun today in your E63 and revving it on the highway. It's been awesome.
Thank you for having me. So how can people keep in touch with you? You can look us up on the
Throttle app. You can comment on this video, Stratton Motor Cars, and I'd be more than happy
to answer any questions for anyone whether you're local or not project or not. Awesome and we've had
so much content today that you need to download the Throttle app where we're going to keep a lot
of the bonus footage. So in the meantime please subscribe to our channel and hit the bell so you
get notified when we upload new content because next week I'm heading to Portland, Oregon and
you're going to want to check that out. So thanks for watching and join us next time as Throttle's
