Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner | Shanghai 2024 Final Extended Highlights

Sheena from Italy, world number one, Janice Sinner! From Serbia, full-time winner of the Rolex Chennai Masters, Novak Djokovic! Came through it. Again, Djokovic. So Djokovic survives. He was annoyed because he was behind it. Mr Djokovic is changing the goal on the right baseline. It's a lot to say. It's not just on that. Very smart volley. He's hit his forehand down the line. Shot, but if you don't quite get enough on it, sat there for Sinner to be able to unload on a big four. That was a good volley from Sinner. Anticipated where that forehand was going. Started with a ferry. Asking the question, it was a pretty good first forehand. Sinner just exploded into life. Such a well-managed forehand now. I think really surprising. That's lethal. Intense. Djokovic doing a ferry. The Italian in tyre breaks this year. A breathtaking forehand. This has been an unbelievable tyre break. He's dropping fairly quickly. Yannick Sinner, thus secure the opening set here in Shanghai. And Djokovic, if he is to get to number 100, he's going to have to come from behind to do so. To just one point. What a return. Staff. Annoyed. And nicely. A few times. Yannick Sinner. In a match that is still yet to see a break point. Held it beautifully, that little drop of the racket head. That was smooth. Well, you can only think that's some sort of conservation of energy. Astana, counter of the highest quality. From Yannick Sinner. Who's got the four-time former champion here, right where he wants him now. More of the winners with. He's served though strong. Been a pretty significant drop off in the second from the serve. He's taking nothing away from Sinner, by the way, because Sinner created that. The world delivers an impressive display to claim a third Masters 1000 title of the year. The wait for Djokovic for a century will have to go on. But he has been so impressive pretty much from start to finish in 2024. And the champion of the tournament, Yannick Sinner. Now, Ms. Xiedong would like to present the trophy to the winner. Once again, congratulations to Yannick. Thank you.
