The other week, @ChrisRamsay52 announced that he'll no longer be making playing cards and the last deck of cards from 1st.shop will be the ones in the 1st poker set, which there's only 250 of them made (And another 100 sold on @DANIELmadison's shop, but I missed out on the individual decks when they came on sale.
So as it's my birthday on the 14th of June, I decided to treat myself to the biggest/expensive magic haul I've done and bought myself the casino kit and some other items. And in the package, I had this amazing special gift which left me nearly speechless. Watch out for the moment of pure disbelief in the video when you can see my reaction to seeing this present in the box.
I can't thank T and Chris enough as I mentioned it was my birthday soon and this was an order for that, as 1st emailed to double check packaging address details and I didn't think for one moment I'd get something like this in the package... That's right, free cardboard haha.

What's up everybody? Welcome to the
video. My name is Keith. Today's video
going to take a look at my package and
it's a big one. So, as you may or may
not know, I'm a huge fan of Chris Ramsey
and the first playing cards. And he
announced recently that he was stopped
making playing cards, which is a bit
upsetting really. Recording this video,
I've got 18 of them. I think he's
released 18 first and then obviously
there was something else which he
released. his final deck of playing
cards which is only available in the
poker set which he released or there was
I think it was 100 decks on Daniel
Madison's site on Madison cards and
unfortunately I missed out on the deck
itself so I just
thought it's my birthday on the 14th of
June so why not treat myself so yeah
this is a package from first playing
cards so I got the poker set and some
other goodies so we'll take a look at
them and see what I got in the package.
So, yeah, let's jump in and uh have a
look. So, I think this is probably my
biggest most expensive magic related
purchase I've done. I think the the
poker set was about 200ish and then I
spent another £100 or so on other things
if not more. So that came to that and
then I also had a 90 customs fee from
Royal Mail for the importing of it. But
it is what it is I suppose. But yeah,
this is quite a big expensive haul that
I've done for Magic. So let's look in
and uh let's have a
look. I didn't have to pay for these
cardboard bits. They came free. So uh
thanks for that.
So, one of the first things I can see on
the top is this uh little tag. So, this
is a key chain. So, it's um the first
keychain. So, it's uh remove before
flight. It's got first. I think I got
two red ones and two black ones. So,
yeah, there's the other black
one first and then remove before flight.
Just put them to the side.

And here are the other
two. So, I got the four in total. So, I
did want one of each, but I thought I
may as well get two of each while I'm uh
placing the order. Next, I got this uh
first hat. Now, I did want one of the
other designs, but it was sold out,
unfortunately. So, I went for this one
instead. And uh depending on how big me
head is is whether it will fit. So
that's there. Just a nice light colored
hat with the uh first logo on. And on
the inside it's got the first branding,
some first branding on the back as well.
But yeah, and this will help cover up me
hair cuz I need a haircut. But this is
it. Of course, the big heavy
thing. The first poker set. Now I did
get something else as well. And then
we'll have a look at that. This here was
the
uh No
way. So, I'd messaged to say that I was
um it was for me birthday cuz they
wanted to double check the address and
stuff and
uh I got a a first
V1 signed deck saying happy birthday
from Chris. Thank you very much. I
didn't expect anything like that. I was
just just talking in the uh the emails
when had to confirm the address and
stuff like that. And it was T who I was
talking to. I'm not sure maybe Toby,
maybe Tommy, maybe Theresa, anything.
One of their those TE's. And I just said
that it was my birthday coming up.
Hopefully I'll get it for that. But uh
that is amazing. That's
just Yeah.
So, uh, the other things I got was, um,
first workshort, work workshort, first
work shirt, which is a Dicky's one, and,
uh, it's got the first logo on and, uh,
stuff. So, got a double XXL cuz quite
tall, so I wanted the long one, so
hopefully it fits. But yeah,
um, more free cardboard and
packaging. So, I'll just quickly open up
this shirt just so I can show you this.
There should be some uh some B-roll on
the screen of me wearing it and things
as well, but uh this is it
here. So, there is the front with the
first and on the back it's the first
playing card
company. Love that logo and stuff on the
back. Really, really nice. And uh what
everyone has probably come to see is the
first playing card poker set or first
poker
set. So this is it here. And of course
inside of here is the last deck of
playing cards that Chris Ramsey is going
to
make. The fell out of here, but I put
them back in
place. And this is the deck here. This
is the first casino deck, first playing
cards by Chris Ramsey. I'll do a
separate deck review on this along with
all of the other decks of cards in the
first series of playing cards released
by Chris. But then this is the uh the
poker set. So, it's the first casino.
They have the poker chips
there. More there. more there. And uh
the dice of the first casino on them and
they're numbered as well. So I've got
number 140. I think there was 250 of
these made possibly. But then I've got
140. So that's a a decent decent number
for it. Then we have the the other red
ones, the black ones, and these as
well. So there we go. That is the first
poker set. And I'm just absolutely
stoked with the package, especially with
the
uh these cuz up there I do have a V3
signed deck which I got when I bought a
brick from the first playing cards
website when that was first released.
But uh having a first V1 signed
personalized as such saying uh HBD for
happy birthday that's amazing. So nice
little haul there. I'm really proud of
it. Um, I'll do some reviews on the
poker set soon and the deck review as
well. So, that'll be really good. Really
looking forward to that. And like I
said, I have I think it's the 18 or 19
releases in the first set. Obviously,
some of them are the same, so I'm just
looking now. So, the first bicycle one,
there was a black, blue, and a red. So,
there was three different ones, but it's
one release as such. Thanks again to T
and for Chris for sorting that nice
little present out. I wasn't expecting
that at all. And uh yeah, I'm really
happy with the uh the poker set, the
shirt, and the uh the key rings and the
hat. Wanted one of these for quite a
while when I saw them just to go on me
keys. But uh to order just one of these
and the shipping from Canada to the UK
was just a bit excessive just for the
key rings. So I thought when I'm
ordering everything, I may as well do
that. Did some t-shirts and hoodies, but
they're only in smaller sizes. So maybe
in the future when it gets them
restocked, I'll uh I'll make another
purchase and get them. Hope you enjoyed

Anyone who used to watch the uh the
Chris Ramsey vlogs and videos back in
the day when when I first got into
magic, that's what I was watching. and
it was the Chris Ramsey stuff and uh
Alex Pandere and Wes and everyone else
and it's just great to like see how
they've evolved over time and done
different things. So I met um Eric the
Clerk and Alex Boyet at Blackpool and
still waiting to meet uh Chris and Wes.
So hopefully I'll be able to meet them
sometime soon. And uh I've got all of
Wes's cards as Boo. Same with Chris, got
all of his stuff. Uh, it's nice to to be
on a platform where I've watched other
magicians and other people recording
videos and now I'm in the same situation
of recording videos about them and for
different things and then other people
are watching my videos which is just
amazing and mindboggling really. But
yeah, thanks to everyone who subscribed
