Hey socialites, so today's video is going to be my June makeup tray.
And if you're new, I create a makeup tray every month of products that I want to be
more intentional about using.
Some of these products I'm almost finished with, so I just kind of want to put them on
the tray to get rid of them.
Some products are new and I want to get to learn them.
Some products are seasonal, maybe products that work better or look better in the summer
months.
So, let's jump right into it.
I'm going to start off with a sunscreen.
Now this is actually the sunscreen that I keep in my purse, even though I can't use
it in every scenario.
This is from Shiseido.
It's the Clear Sunscreen Stick, super convenient.
I love this.
I started using this, I want to say last summer and it's clear, it goes on clear, it doesn't
leave like a shiny cast, it doesn't make you greasy or oily or anything, it doesn't make
you matte, it just keeps your skin looking how your skin looks.
Only thing about this is, obviously I can't use this on top of makeup, but on the days
where I don't wear makeup and just skin care, I love to keep this with me because if you
guys don't know, you need to reapply sunscreen about every two hours or so.
Next is a game changer.
Now this is another sunscreen, well it's an SPF.
This one is SPF 50, it's from Naked Sundays.
It's the Hydrating Glow Mist.
This is another product that I keep in my purse, but I like this one because on days
where I wear makeup, after two hours when I need to reapply an SPF or sunscreen, I can
just spray it on top.
So it's a nice even mist, I like that as well.
It does say that it's a glow mist, but it doesn't leave you super glowy or anything.
You're not going to have a high shine, but it does have a fruity scent to it, so that's
something to keep in mind.
There's hyaluronic acid in here, there's watermelon extract, so if you're not a fan of the watermelon
scent, which I'm not a fan of watermelon scent, but just because it gets the job done, I do
still like to use this and keep this in my purse.
Naked Sundays does have other versions of SPF too.
They're somewhat on the affordable side too, so maybe look into this if you needed something
that was in a spray form.
Moving on to the complexion products that I have on my tray this month.
The first is actually a product that I want to learn.
I've never worn this before.
So Jane Iredale sent over a PR package, and is this not the cutest?
They just launched the Skintuition SPF 30 liquid foundation.
So again, it has SPF in it, that's sun protection, and it does come in different shades because
it's a foundation.
So the shades are pretty extensive when I saw it on the website, so that was impressive.
They sent over three.
This one is 56 medium dark, which is the lightest shade that they sent over.
The next shade is 58 medium dark.
So that's 56, this one is 58.
58 seems like it may be a little bit more cool, whereas 56 looks more neutral.
And the last shade they sent over is 60 dark, and that's 60 dark at the bottom.
I definitely feel like 60 dark would be my shade.
I may even be able to mix 60 dark with 56.
Next complexion product on my tray this month is one that kind of goes without saying.
This is from Fenty Skin.
This is their tinted sunscreen, and it comes in like a little refillable tube like this.
They sell this separately that you can just pop right in.
I actually have the shade 6, and I feel like I could be 7, but I definitely could get away
with 6.
This is the Hydravisor Hues from Fenty Skin.
This is a good one, you guys.
Lasts all day long.
This is one that lasts through sweat and everything.
It has an SPF of 30 in it, so you just would apply it like you would a lotion, or you could
even apply it like you would a foundation.
It gives a makeup look, so this isn't like one of those super sheer tinted sunscreen.
It has maybe like a medium-ish coverage that is buildable, but long lasting.
So especially if you have oily skin, this would be a really good one.
So on the days that I want to be a little bit more made up but still want that SPF protection,
this is the one that I'll be reaching for.
Next product was actually recommended from one of you guys, from one of the socialites,
and I hadn't tried it yet.
This is Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen from Beauty of Josen.
I think that's how you say it.
It has SPF 40 in it, and I have the shade MN230, so I'm hoping that this shade works
for me.
Sort of reminds you of like the drunk elephant packaging, doesn't it?
And it's in a squeeze tube, so it's on the watery side for sure.
A little warm.
It does have significant coverage to it, at least medium I would say, and I can make this
shade work.
It does look a little bit warm, but with SPF 40, this is something that I wouldn't mind
making work.
You know what I mean?
So we'll definitely be talking a little bit more about this one this month.
Last complexion product is one that I used a couple videos ago, and I really like it.
It's gorgeous on the skin, it's super long lasting.
This is the Merit The Uniform Tinted Sunscreen.
This one has SPF 45 in it.
Beautiful product, you guys.
I'll put the link to the video where I'm wearing this.
There's a wear test that I do, so at the end of the video you can skip ahead and see how
it looks after like four or six hours later or something like that, but it is beautiful.
I have it in the shade 10 Amber.
So that's it for complexion.
I have the most of those on the tray this month.
We're going to move on to a contour stick.
This one is from Fenty Beauty, and it is in the shade Truffle, 04 Truffle.
This is what it looks like, and during the last Fenty sale I did a sponsorship with them,
and I tried out quite a few of their more popular products like this one, and I really
like them.
It's really easy to blend, and I like how subtle it is on the skin.
I'm actually wearing it today, so you see how subtle my contour, well bronzer, I'm not
really super contoured, but it just gives a nice soft sort of bronze to my skin, which
I love.
I went back and forth, should I get this one or the one deeper than this, so I'm glad that
Truffle is the one that I went with.
And then another Fenty product on the tray is, this one is their powder bronzer.
This is the Sun Stalker bronzer in the shade Coco Naughty.
So beautiful.
I'm also wearing this one today, so that sort of warmth that you see in this area is Coco
Naughty.
So definitely a staple in so many makeup lovers' collection, and for a good reason.
Love the shade.
I love how smooth, almost buttery the formula is.
Moving on to the second powder bronzer that I have on my tray this month, and it's from
NARS.
I have a few products from NARS on the tray this month, and this one is the Laguna bronzer
in Laguna No. 6.
Now this one is warmer than the Fenty Coco Naughty shade.
Let me show you guys how it compares, but equally as beautiful.
See how the NARS one is just a little warmer and a little deeper?
So this one gives me just a little bit more drama and depth to my face, so on the days
where I want to be just a little bit more glam, I can reach for this one.
But just as smooth, if you guys know anything about NARS, their quality is excellent.
So happy to have this one on the tray this month.
And then I have a couple of powder blushes from NARS on the tray.
One I'm actually wearing today, like this sort of berry type color, and this is Teased
from NARS.
So look at this.
Is that not stunning?
So beautiful.
I haven't reached for this in a while, so I knew I wanted to put this on my tray when
I ran into it a couple weeks ago, and I've worn it a couple times.
Let me put a little bit more on in case y'all can't see it.
This is so pretty, and I feel like with a look like what I have today, I could get away
with more like a bold color because I don't have too much color on my skin.
Look at that.
So, so pretty y'all.
Oh my goodness.
Love this.
So this is going to be a very fun makeup month for me.
And then moving on to the last powder bronzer on my tray, another one from NARS, and this
one is Orgasm X, which gives you more of like sort of an orangey, peachy hue shade, if you
will.
But it's also a bit glimmery, like try to swatch it here.
So it's a little bit reflective, not as reflective as like a highlight, but it's definitely not
a matte bronzer.
There's sort of a sheen, a little bit of a glimmer to it.
Really pretty as well.
So I'll be wearing this, as you guys can tell, I'm pulling out a little bit of color this
month.
So moving on to eyeshadows, I have three eyeshadows on the tray and they are liquid shadows from
About Face.
Y'all, I love About Face products.
These are their eye paints.
My favorite shade in their eye paints is this one, which is cloned.
It's like a medium tone brown that looks gorgeous in the crease or all over the eye.
If you're looking for a one and done shadow, these are really good for that.
So let me swatch these three and show you how they look.
They blend out like a dream.
You just need one good brush, a blending brush, to apply it all over your lid and you'll be
good to go.
So my favorite one is cloned.
This one is Capulets and this one is Vintage Granada, which is like a sort of like a deep
dark purpley shade.
But you guys, they have like 20 shades in these liquid shadows.
Some really bold, fun ones if you're into like those really fun neon looks.
They have a lot of that to choose from, but these are my three favorite.
Just a few more products left.
I picked this up, I showed you guys during my last haul that I did the shop with me video.
This is L'Oreal Faux Brow and it's in the shade dark blonde and I was a little bit nervous.
I didn't know if this shade would work.
I was going back and forth.
Should I get dark blonde or should I get brunette and because I usually pick up one shade darker
than what I really want, I always, every time I try on a brow product that I bought, I always
feel like, man, I wish I would have gone one shade lighter.
So that's what I did in this case.
I went with the dark blonde shade and I'm so happy I did.
So I'm actually wearing it today.
These strokes that you see at the head of my brows match perfectly with my brow shade
right now.
So this is it.
It's one of those products that has like the little tips on it.
And so you just get those like hair like strokes and it's really bendy so it contours
to the face really easily.
It's not crazy pigmented because at the head of your brow, you don't want a product that's
just super pigmented.
And with these type of products, I do find that sometimes they just too much color shows
up and you don't want, you know, the color to be too strong at the head of the brow.
It's okay if it's strong towards the tail of the brow, but here you just want it to
just be kind of soft and that's what this gives.
So I'm enjoying this so far, definitely on the tray.
Last couple of products are some lipsticks.
They're from Westman Atelier.
Y'all, these are some of the best quality lipsticks, period, that you can buy.
And I have two shades.
One's in the shade La Rouge and it's sort of like a bright orangey red shade.
It's so creamy, so beautiful and they're super long lasting.
So for those days where I just want a neutral look and a pop of color, perfect for the summer.
And the next shade is LFG and this is a beautiful sort of pink shade.
And so there it is right there.
So beautiful.
Y'all, these are just so creamy.
They fill in lines on your lips, so it just kind of smooths out the texture of your lip.
On the inside, there's a mirror that you can actually use.
You can see your full lip in, so when you're out and about, that's pretty cool.
The cap is magnetic, so quality lipstick, worth the money in my opinion.
And I do have two setting sprays.
One of them is like a summer staple, or if I want to be locked in, it's a staple.
And one of them is kind of new.
So this one's the LYS Natural Finish Setting Spray.
I only have a little bit of this left, so I'll have to pick up another one, but this
one gives you a matte finish, even if you start to see shine on your face and you just
want to kind of spray yourself down to mattify a little bit instead of blotting, it will
do that for you.
But it locks you in for hours.
Really good setting spray.
And then another one that's really good that locks you in is the Fenty Beauty Spray.
Now this one doesn't mattify, it leaves a little bit of a sheen to the skin in my experience.
So after I spray myself with this, I'll get my powder brush and just kind of like softly
go back over my makeup just because it leaves a little bit of a shine.
But once it's on there, y'all, this is up there with like the one size setting spray
as far as locking you in for hours.
Really really good.
So I'm happy to have this for the hot summer months here in Houston.
So let me know what you have on your makeup tray this month.
I'm excited to hear about it.
And if you're new here, welcome.
I'd love for you to come join the family by hitting the subscribe button.
Thank you all so much for watching and I'll see you on the next one.
