How to dress Thai traditional costume.
This is Sabai.
First, we're going to put it on the left shoulder.
And then, measuring the length.
The length is going to be about half of the calf, like this.
And then, we're going to wrap.
Keep wrapping until the end.
And then, the end is going to be the starting point.
And you're going to have to unwrap it like this.
We folded the Sabai a little bit.
Like an inch and a half or around one inch.
We pin it like this with a safety pin.
We pin Sabai with a bandeau.
Wrap Sabai around the body.
The last round, we put it over the left shoulder.
And then, we're going to pin it again.
We have to pin it every layer.
The first, the second, the third, and the bandeau.
We pin every layer together to make sure it stays tight.
This is the final.
And at the end, we hide the safety pin like this.
The first part is done, Sabai.
The second part is the skirt.
We have the layer.
This layer is going to be in the front.
We measure around your belly button.
And then, we wrap.
We open like this.
Wrap to the back.
We have some of the hook.
But if your waist is not according to the hook, we can use the safety pin.
We pin the skirt together.
Be careful. Don't pinch your friends.
Turn around to the front.
Now, we are at the front.
Then, we're going to pin both layers together.
One and two.
It's going to look like this.
When we adjust, we hold every layer from the front together.
One, two, three.
Part three, the accessories.
We have the belt.
We have a sash.
And then, we have a brooch.
We're going to start with the belt.
We're going to put a little bit off the center to the right.
Then, we wrap around the waist.
And then, open this part.
Then, we're going to have the hook here.
We're going to hook wherever it ends.
Then, we turn.
The buckle is going to be in the front.
Then, they have the hook.
We can hook it again.
We adjust a little bit.
When we start the belt off center a little bit, the belt will come back in the middle.
But if you accidentally move and the buckle is not centered, we have to redo it again.
Please don't move the belt back and forward, left and right like this.
The belt will scratch the skirt.
If it's not centered, we redo it again.
Start a little bit off center.
The skirt has the front part like this.
It's free. It's not attached to any part of the skirt.
We're going to fold it in a little bit, like an inch, up under the buckle.
Like an inch to an inch and a half.
Now, this is the sash.
We're going to put it around the arm like this, over the shoulder.
And then, the brooch.
We're going to pin it with the bight and the sash.
Here we go!
