Distant Drums 1951 Gary Cooper, Mari Aldon & Richard Webb

Distant Drums is set in 1840s Florida during the Second Seminole War. The film follows Captain Quincy Wyatt (played by Gary Cooper), a reclusive frontiersman and former soldier who is called back into action by the U.S. military. Wyatt is tasked with a dangerous mission: to lead a small group of soldiers into enemy territory to destroy a fort controlled by Seminole Native Americans and used by Spanish gunrunners.
