The MATH of the Alice Dress - 1897 Heirloom

Before I can analyze, digitize and share the pattern pieces that make up this 1897 dimity gown, I must first improve my tools to be able to create complex curves, and I have to figure out how to trace the gathered and stretched-out pieces of this dress. This month, I’m getting a little technical as I show off how I turned Bezier curves inside out and made a 1:1 diagram of this 128-year-old fabric.
