What's up guys, it's Will here from WTF Car Reviews and today we're going to be reviewing
this all-new 2022 BMW X4. Alright guys, before we start I want to give a huge thank you to
Furman BMW here in beautiful Palm Springs, Florida for making this review possible.
These guys have a really kind staff with a beautiful dealership and with a convenient
location located right off of US 19. I would definitely recommend anybody looking for a
new car in the Florida area to come check these guys out. So for those of you guys who don't
know, the X4 has been in BMW's lineup since 2014. That's when the first generation came
out and similar to today, that generation was offered with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder
engine and a 3.0L turbocharged straight-six engine. So fast forward to today, this is
the second generation X4. It was released in 2018 and here for 2022, we do get some
updates in terms of styling and interior features. In terms of powertrain for 2022, we're still
going to have the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and the 3.0L straight-six engine. So
with this application, you're going to have about 258 horsepower or 248 horsepower and
268 pound-feet of torque, enough to get this SUV that weighs about 4,200 pounds to 60 in
a really respectable six seconds. That's actually surprisingly impressive for the power-to-weight
ratio that we see here. Definitely makes me think that this engine may be quite a bit
underrated, but for the M40 i-trim, we're going to have a turbocharged straight-six,
which is going to make upwards of 335 horsepower and about 365 pound-feet of torque, enough
to get this SUV to 60 in around 4.2 seconds, making it one of the fastest SUVs in the segment,
especially considering the overall price tag. We're also going to have the M version. So the
X4 M, that's going to be absolutely ludicrous, whole different ballpark in terms of SUVs.
If I ever get to review that car, you'll get a chance to see me giggling like a little.
But this is the 2022 X4 xDrive 30i. So let's get right into it in terms of exterior styling.
Upfront, as we mentioned, we are going to have a little bit of updates to the grille,
but I'm definitely glad that we didn't get quite the same grille as we get on the new 3 and 4
series. That grille is really large, although it is definitely starting to grow on me too,
but I can't say that I don't prefer a grille like this. But in terms of headlights over here,
we do get dual LED headlights with LED daytime running strips. We'll check those out once we
start this car up. And I think this is a running strip up top, too. I'm not quite sure. We'll see
once we start her up. But as far as the grille, you can see we do get active shutters over here
once we start the car up. These will open up. We'll check that out as well. Down here, you got
a little bit of additional airflow with shutters. These are all completely closed right now, but
they, of course, open up over here. And over here, you got some active airflow for your aerodynamics.
And if you can notice over here, you do get your front parking sensors. And this vehicle does have
360 sensing and a 360 camera, and it works really well. One of the best resolution screens I've
seen. But as far as the paint, you can check out this flat white paint. It's not a metallic,
unfortunately, but it still looks really nice with this white on black contrast. But let's
over here, check out this wheel and tire setup. So over here, you got your beautiful 21 inch
rims. I really love the design. They may be a little bit tough to clean because of how narrow
they get over here. But if you can see, it does say BMW individual. That's also pretty cool. But
as far as tires, these 21 inch rims are going to be wrapped in 245-40 R21 Bridgestone Alenza tires.
Pretty good all season compound for a 40 series sidewall tire. It's definitely going to help
your overall handling. But let's continue alongside over here. You can see you get
an additional vent over here that will also help your aerodynamics and check out these mirrors. So
pretty large glass. It fills up the frame very well. I like this contrast color design with the
black and white contrast turn signal right here and your blind spot monitor right over here as
well. As far as the door handles, you are going to get smart access for the drivers and the front
passenger. As far as the rear passenger, I don't see how it locks, but you do get a touch sensor
right here. That is pretty cool. But down here, you're going to have your offset rims. These are
going to be still 21 inch rims, of course. However, these are going to be wrapped in 275-35
R21 Bridgestone Alenza tires. So it's going to be a little bit skinnier of a tire and a little bit
wider. So it's going to help you get the ultimate grip since this is a rear wheel drive based
all wheel drive system. But continuing alongside over here, you can see that this is, since this
is the X4, you are going to have the slung roof design. We'll check out the backseat, see if it
affects overall headroom, but I don't think it does. We'll check that out in a second, though.
You can see you do get tints for your rear windows and your rear hatch. But coming along
over here to the side, you can see your rear styling. I love that black contrast with this
white paint. Definitely, definitely a fan of that. And you got your LED taillights with your
turn signals and your reverse lights. But one more step back, you can see your X4 badge and
your XDrive30i. But one more step back. I like the exhaust tips, too. Definitely like how they
integrate with the tips. But other than that, guys, I like the rear styling. Let's start this
X4 up and hear how she sounds. All right, guys, that was, of course, the sound of the two liter
turbo four cylinder sold by BMW. And it sounds really, really good for a turbo four. Very
impressive. But here you have it. I love the strut tower braces over here. It's definitely
going to help your overall handling. And coming down here now that the shutters have opened up,
you can see that you have additional braces up front in front of your intercooler. Very impressive.
Definitely going to help the overall handling on this SUV. But here you got your twin power turbo
four cylinder engine. It does sit pretty low. This engine, of course, going to make 248 horsepower,
268 pound feet of torque enough to get this SUV to 60 in around six seconds. Very impressive.
But let's shut this hood. Didn't shut. There we go. Take a step back. Really nice styling. I don't
know if you could pick up those daytime running lights and if they're blinking. I'm sorry. I don't
know how to fix that. But great styling. Definitely impressive. Let's go ahead and check out the
interior on this all new 2022 BMW X4 and step inside. You're going to notice you got some soft
touch materials up top. Very impressive down here. I like the wood trim and this is illuminated.
You're not going to notice it right now, but as it gets darker, it definitely becomes much more
noticeable. Beneath that, you're going to have some aluminum down here, integrates your aluminum
door handle very well. Lock and unlock memory seats. Nice to have with your X. Nice to see that
on your X4. But down here, I like this little brown trim. Very nice leather. Very soft leather,
too. Very comfortable to rest your arm and power one touch for all four passengers for down and up.
But up here, you got your four way adjustable mirrors. You can lock which way the mirror goes
right here. And you got your trunk release down here. But as far as everything, like the grab
handle, leather wrap down here, leather wrapped, huge, huge cup holder. You can easily fit a big
gulp in there and maybe a foot long in there, too. Very impressive storage. But this is the M
Sport package. So you're going to have your M door seal right here. It's aluminum. It's very nice.
Definitely nice to look at. And as far as the seats, check these out. Really nice brown leather.
Very soft, but very thick. It's going to be very durable, long term, really high quality. You got
seat controls right here. These bolsters are adjustable, so you can make them tighter or
looser depending on your size. You got your lumbar control right here. And these seats,
you can adjust the thigh support. So if you have really long legs, you can adjust it right here.
Very nice to have very comfortable seats. But let's take a step inside and really see what we
got. And we'll turn down these air controls so you guys can hear a little bit. So in here, the first
thing you notice is, of course, the steering wheel that comes on your M Sport package. It is huge.
It's going to be one of the thickest steering wheels you're going to ever hold in your hands.
This 10-in-2 bolstering notch is massive. You can barely fit your arms around it. And the 9-in-3,
it fits your hands absolutely perfectly. It's not a flat bottom steering wheel,
but it doesn't matter. This is one of the best steering wheels in the business.
Definitely, definitely impressive. In normal mode, the steering feels very light. So for
the people who haven't been big fans of BMW in the past, the steering is much,
much lighter in normal mode. If you like the heavier steering, you can always
throw it in Sport right here. And the steering, not only the steering, but everything over here
changes up a little bit. But the steering gets much, much heavier. But we'll leave it in Comfort
for now. We'll start the review in Comfort and transition into Sport. But as far as the steering
wheel, you're going to have a heated steering wheel right here. It's nice to have it right
in the steering wheel instead of having to go through your infotainment settings and find where
it is. You got your cruise control settings right here. And I really like this aluminum
trim that surrounds everything in the steering wheel. Definitely makes it feel much more high
quality with your M right here. But on the right, you're going to have your media settings. You can
adjust your volume. You can skip your songs and you got your voice commands down here.
For the horn, it's going to be stitched very high quality. It's not leather, but
the fact they made their horn stitched is very nice. As far as the horn,
not the most aggressive, but it still sounds pretty decent. Behind the steering wheel,
you're going to have your aluminum paddle shifters. They feel really nice to click,
very high quality. And the turn signals, they feel very nice, not flimsy. They actually don't feel
quite as good as the new Hyundai Kia turn signals. I know I say it all the time. Those are some of
the most impressive turn signals in the business. Other car companies should probably pick up on it,
but they still feel very good. The steering wheel itself, it's not a power tilt and telescoping
steering wheel, but right here, you can tilt and telescope the steering wheel manually.
But anyway, over here, you got your light controls. Of course, you got auto headlights.
You can turn on your parking lights over here and you can adjust how bright it is inside.
But as far as the dashboard, it's going to be soft touch. You would expect that with the BMW,
but you also get a nice heads up display. I don't know if I can angle the camera for you guys to be
able to pick it up, but right there, you got your heads up display. It tells you the speed
that you're going. It also tells you the speed limit of the road. Hopefully, like the CX-9,
this doesn't start beeping as soon as you start crossing the speed limit by one mile per hour.
I'm sure BMW thought that through, but still very impressive feature. Heads up displays are
my favorite features overall. But I know you guys are staring at them. Yes, this vehicle does have
dual 12.3 inch touchscreen displays. Well, not touchscreen displays, the gauges are not going
to get touchscreen, but dual 12.3 inch displays. As far as the gauges here, you have your M gauges.
It's going to have a 160 mile speedometer with about a 6,000 RPM tech. It does go to about 64,
6,500 RPM, but you don't want to be pushing it that far. Over here, you got your gas gauge,
tells you how much miles you have until E, clock, seatbelt. It tells you what street you are,
or not street, tells you which town you're in. It tells you what mode you're in, tells you what
your drive modes are and the temperature outside, as well as the temperature of your internals.
But the display does change depending on what mode you're in. Throw it into sport, it's going to
change it up a little bit. You can see that this does kind of change up. Throw it into Eco Pro
and changes up a little bit more. And you can see your battery life too. That's pretty nice to see
in Eco Pro. But we're going to leave it in comfort for now. We're going to change between comfort
and sport as far as the display up here. We'll check it out right now. So it is a touch screen.
You can press the home button right here. You can press the map button. And this is really,
really responsive of a touch screen. And if you're not a big touch screen guy,
you don't want to get fingerprints all over your screen. You got your little dial right here. And
the dial is also super convenient because it responds to the touch very well. And you got
all these buttons over here. So you can go straight to your media. You can go home. You can
go home. You can go to the map. You can check out your navigation. You can check out your internet
and you can see your communication settings right here. That allows you to see your messages. You
can see your phone calls and you can call people with your voice commands with literally zero
effort. But over here, you got your overall settings, but let's see what we overall get.
So you go home right here. Of course, you also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over
here for the vehicle settings. You can adjust driving information. We'll see what that gives
you. You can see your trip data. You can see your sport displays. So you can see your G-forces. You
can see your pressure of your boost. That's really cool. You can see your oil temp. You can see how
much horsepower you're using too. We'll see if that changes up as we rev it up. Yeah, that's pretty
cool. So we reached 78 horsepower. That's pretty cool. But we did hit about a hundred pound-feet
of torque. Pretty impressive. We'll see if we can beat that once we take it out for a drive. But
let's get out of here. See what else we got. You can see your X view. Let's see what that means.
Oh, so this is like basically a compass. It tells you your grade and it tells you your elevation.
Energy flow. I guess it tells you how much power is being sent to each wheel. Pretty cool overall
displays. But let's get out of here. See what else we got. Vehicle status. That's going to tell you
your tire pressure and your engine oil level. As far as overall settings, we'll check it out right
here. You can see general settings. Click on that. You can see your mobile devices. Speed warning.
Let's get out of here. I don't want to change anything up. But data privacy and all that. We
don't have to go through any of these. You see your drive mode selector right here. Sport. Individual.
Eco. Pro. Individual. Steering. Sport. Engine. Sport. Transmission. Sport. Whatever. So you can
adjust that. So if you want to have anything different. So if you want to be able to drive
in sport individual, but you don't want to have sports steering, you can adjust that in this
setting. But coming out of here, you can see your exterior lighting. You can adjust so much for this
car. I'm not going to get into everything because otherwise this video is going to end up being 45
minutes long. But you guys can check out all your information over here. But we'll go back to the
home screen. Go back to the nav screen. That's probably my favorite screen to just look at at
all times. But coming down here, of course, you've got your vents. Auto climate. Heated seats.
Heated steering wheel. No cooled seats. It would be nice to get cooled seats with an SUV that's
approaching $60,000. But not a very big deal. Down here, you're going to have your volume control.
Pretty nice dial. But other than that, not a whole lot going on. You are going to have a little bit
of piano black down here. Not a whole lot. That's good. And you're not going to have to really worry
about cleaning up a bunch of fingerprints. And the wood trim does continue over here with aluminum
that outlines everything else. But up here, you got your hazard lights right here next to your
360 sensing. You got your X4 nameplate right here and a little bit of a storage cubby over here.
We'll check it out. No wireless charger, but of course that is optional on this car. You got your
USB port right here and a little bit of a storage thing. You can throw your key right there. You got
two cup holders. They are rubberized. You got your 12 volt right here. It's not a cigarette lighter.
It's just a cover, but it's a nice cover overall. But we can shut this thing up. Back here, you got
your drive selector. So this controls your eight speed automatic transmission. Pull it back here
and drive. Push it forward. Half a notch here in neutral. Push it forward all the way. You're in
reverse. And speaking of reverse, guys, this is one of the best backup cameras I've ever seen.
The trajectories are instant. And as far as the 360 camera or the 360 sensing, you got trajectory
for that as well. Super impressive, guys. You really do not see that very often. But yeah.
Anyway, guys, coming back here, like we mentioned, you can turn off your traction control, turn off
your parking sensors, you turn off your auto start stop, which we're going to do for the purpose of
this review. And you got your drive selects right here. Also auto hold. So at red lights, you don't
have to hold your foot on the brake, your electronic parking brake right here. But for 2022, we got an
all new armrest and center console. We'll check out what we got. So as far as the leather, really,
really soft leather, very well padded. Super impressive overall. I'm not sure if we're
actually in park, so we'll throw it in park right now. Yeah, there we go. But I'm not sure why BMW
doesn't have the screen go back to the original screen. Once you put it in park, you got to
manually do it right here. But not a big deal. Check out the center console. Pretty good space.
You can easily fit a six pack in there, but I don't know if it's deep enough for bottles.
You got your USB-C port in here with a little bit of additional storage. Over here, you got a little
bit of space for some coins or something. So they thought it through. They definitely fixed the
center console. Pretty impressive overall. As far as the glove box, pull this little latch right here
and you see it opens up a lot of space line with felt. You probably fit at least like 14
license plates in here. Definitely a thumbs up with some aluminum that carries along
the front. But up here, you got your frameless mirror. Nice to have. You got no garage settings
on here. The garage settings are not sure. I don't think you have garage settings in this SUV,
but as far as the mirror itself, it's going to be auto dimming and frameless. Very nice. And you can
see the rear very well. But up here, you got your moonroof. It doesn't go back as far as a lot of
other SUVs, but it still goes back pretty well. And this is the panel that opens up. But let's
take a quick look at the window sticker over here. So of course, here you have your 2022 BMW X4
X-Drive 30i. Base price is going to be sitting around $52,000. You're going to have the alpine
white color included, mocha vernazza leather. That's going to be almost a $1,500 option.
We're also going to have the shadow line package for about $400. That gives you the M lights and
the extended shadow line trim. You got the M Sport package for almost $3,000 as well as the premium
package. These two packages included here, heated steering wheel, comfort access, keyless entry,
lumbar support, heater front seats, heads up display, gesture control, 21 inch M rims,
fine line open port ash trim, M steering wheel, shadow line exterior trim, and an anthracite
headliner. So I didn't even pick it up. We got the headliner. It is a little bit different. It does
feel pretty soft. Nice quality. But that's about it for the packages. As far as the standard
equipment, you are going to get blind spot monitoring. You're going to have the eight
speed transmission. You're going to have the digital key, ambient lighting, gallery controls,
panoramic sunroof, privacy glass, auto dimming mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror, sports
seats, adjustable seat width, so the bolstering controls, dual zone auto climate control with
climate control in the rear as well. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, enhanced Bluetooth,
live cockpit pro, refrigerant, and a $995 destination charge. After all that, we're
going to be sitting around an MSRP around $60,000. Pretty good overall value considering all the
luxury features and performance features that this vehicle comes equipped with. You guys can take a
pause, see all the standard equipment. But other than that, guys, as far as fuel economy, you're
pretty good on gas for this two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. But we can put this away. But
that's about it for this 2022 BMW X4. Really impressive front seat. Let's hop out back,
see how much space is offered back there, and see how high quality the materials are overall.
All right, guys, stepping in the back seat on this 2022 BMW X4, up top on the door panel,
you're going to have some soft touch trim. Very nice to have. Beneath that, you are going to have
wood grain trim. That's also really luxurious. This is illuminated up top. I don't think you
could pick it up right now, but once we step inside and it gets a little darker, you guys
should be able to see how it is. Beneath that, you're going to have some aluminum trim over here,
integrates to your door handle very well, and your X right here. Down here, you're going to have some
brown leather, very nice color. It is contrast stitching, very soft too. Armrest, pretty soft,
not the softest, but it is padded very well. You do get a power one-touch window on the way down,
not on the way up for some reason. They could have probably added it on the way up,
but I'm sure that's offered on another package. Down here, you're going to fit a 12-ounce bottle
over here with no problem and probably a pretty decent-sized sandwich over here as well. Check
out these seats. The padding is going to go all the way out to the door frame, so it's going to
help you feel like you're sitting in a couch. You can fold the seats right here. That's also pretty
nice. You got your car seat controls back here. Anyway, let's see the legroom. Not the most space
overall, not as much as the X3 that we reviewed, but let's take a step in here nevertheless.
Like I said, my knees are starting to get close to touching, but they're not touching. I still
have about, let's say, an inch of legroom before they would start to touch. I'm six feet tall
sitting behind my seat settings, so nothing to complain about. If anything, I would just sit
behind the passenger, have them compromise maybe an inch of legroom for me, so not a big deal.
If you're about six foot two, that's when I would start saying, yeah, you probably shouldn't be
sitting behind your seat settings, but me being about six foot, I don't really have much of a
problem. As far as the quality, really impressive quality. You guys can check out that illumination
that I mentioned. You can see that little blue line. Very nice touch at night, and it definitely
adds to your interior styling. Down here, of course, you got vents. You got a third zone
climate over here as well. You got your USB-Cs over here. No USBs, but that seems to be the
direction a lot of manufacturers are going. Anyway, very high quality back seat. You got
your cargo nets over here behind both seats. You can check out your center little console
with armrests. It does have a little string, so it's easy to grab. Very soft leather, just about
as soft as the front, maybe even softer. Press this button, you can check out your cup holders.
They're not rubberized, but they should fit just about any size cup. We can shut that up, guys,
but that's about it for the back seat. You can check out the moonroof. It looks pretty cool back
here, but that's about it, guys. Let's check out the trunk real quick, and then take this car out
for a drive. All right, guys, so to open this trunk, you're going to press this BMW button
and just pull this thing up. It does open up for you, and it makes zero noise. This is, without
question, the quietest trunk opening system I've ever heard. And back here, you got two sets of
tonneau covers, one right here, which we're using to hold the dealer plate, and one back here, so
nobody can see inside your cargo space. But as far as cargo space, as we just said, ton of space. This
opening is absolutely massive. Really impressive cargo space. I was not expecting it to be this big
of a floor. Really impressive. You fold those rear seats down, you're going to fit a 70-inch TV back
here with no problems at all. Definitely a thumbs-up for BMW for this cargo space. To shut
her up, you simply press this button, watch it close, and again, it makes zero, zero noise. But
that's about it, guys. Let's take this car out for a drive. All right, guys, now we've just about seen
everything we need to see with the inside and outside of the all-new 2022 BMW X4 xDrive 30i.
They have some really long names over here at BMW. It's tough to remember, and the seat belt,
first thing I noticed, it tightens up all the way for you. So another thing I noticed, brakes,
super touch and very nice to feel. But the steering, unbelievably light. Definitely
lighter steering than what we experienced in the X3 M40i that we reviewed on this channel.
So very similar steering to what you would get from the Mercedes competition in comfort mode.
But as soon as you throw it in the sport, it 100% tightens up. But stepping out onto this road,
on about the third throttle, really good acceleration. It takes you to about
3,400 rpm, and you get to speed really quickly. And unlike the Mazda CX-9 that we just reviewed
on this channel, where it started to beep at you as soon as you cross the speed limit,
we went like one or two miles an hour over the speed limit just now. And instead of beeping at
you, it just lights up red. That's definitely much, much better than what we would get from
Mazda. But stepping onto this road, we'll lean into it about halfway once we're situated right
here. About halfway. Really strong acceleration, guys. And the transmission shifts really quickly.
There is a little bit of turbo lag, definitely more noticeable than the M40i. But to be expected,
guys. This is a smaller engine with a bigger turbo, so you're going to have a little bit more
lag. But other than that, guys, on these bumps right here, it handles the bumps really well,
in comfort mode at least. We'll throw it into sport in a second and see how things change up.
As a matter of fact, let's just throw it into sport right now. And yeah, immediately you feel heavier
steering. I step on the gas about halfway. A little bit of lag still, but as soon as you get past that
boost, you definitely get a pretty strong surge of power. But we got a little bit of a two-lane
road over here. It'll be a good opportunity to see how this vehicle can accelerate. So we're
going to step on the gas right here. Wow, okay. We got some acceleration here. This is definitely
no slouch. Yeah, it gets to speed with no problem. I can definitely see it doing 0 to 60
in around six seconds. Definitely a capable performing SUV. I want to take it through some
twisty roads to see how this car can really handle, especially in sport mode.
But just cruising along at speed on this two-lane highway, you don't hear any wind noise. It's a very
quiet interior. You don't feel any bumps. You're very well isolated from the road. And even in
sport mode, it does let you access your overdrive gears. So we're currently cruising at about 50
miles per hour at about 1300 RPM. A lot of cars, when you put them into sport mode, it just keeps
you in third, fourth gear at all times. So you're going to be revving at like 3500 RPM the whole
time. And that's fun when you're ripping it through the corners. I see why they do that.
But practically, you just can't drive every single day when you're just redlining it while you're
stepping on the gas a third of the way. So it's not practical to do that. But this car has
definitely thought it through. In terms of sport, you do have more aggressive transmission, but it's
not aggressive to the point where you can't drive it every day. But we'll step onto this road right
here. We've got a couple of police officers and sheriffs, so we're going to be a little responsible.
But getting up to speed, we've got a couple twisties coming up. We've got more sheriffs, so
we're not going to be going too crazy. I don't know what's going on over here. Maybe someone got hurt.
But throwing it through these turns, wow, the steering feels so sharp. There's literally zero
play in the wheel. Definitely a sporty steering rack. And you don't have any body roll. It feels
like it's ready to go. It's much more capable than the speed limit allows me to use. Maybe we'll make
a right turn at some point, like a little bit faster than we should to really see this vehicle's
limits. But right here, through these corners, it's just nothing. You've got very, very capable
handling capabilities to match your very capable acceleration. Stepping on the gas a little bit
right here, half throttle, as soon as the boost kicks in. More sheriffs coming up, guys. Yeah,
I don't know what's going on, but we're going to get in the right lane, calm down a little bit,
and find a nice road where we can throw it through some turns. But on the highway,
you barely step on the gas. You're at around 1,500 RPM, and you can feel that this engine has
a really, really, really strong torque down low. But we're going to make a U-turn right here. Check
out this vehicle's turning radius. It should be pretty impressive, but we'll check it out right
over here. So turn the wheel. This is actually super impressive. On the gas,
goodbye. This thing rips. It gets to about 6,500 RPM, and then shifts, and you are gone. This thing
is definitely a good performing SUV. I'm not sure if they rated this engine correctly. It feels like
it's closer to 300 horsepower. It's a very, very strong motor. We're going to hit this turn right
here a little faster than we should. Check out this vehicle's real handling capability. Wow.
Zero understeer, really impressive. On the gas, on the brakes, throwing it in. Wow. This car can
really grip, but we're going to turn around right now, guys. We're going to throw on the hat
so you guys can get a little bit of a POV footage on this 2022 BMW X4. But so far, guys,
I am super impressed. This is a really capable, really luxurious SUV with a base price around
52,000 bucks, which isn't cheap, isn't cheap at all. But this is a very luxurious vehicle,
and you are getting your money's worth compared to a lot of vehicles nowadays. They want to charge
this price tag, but you're not really getting much in return. But anyway, let's get ourselves
situated right here, and I'll catch back with you guys in one minute. All right, guys, getting back
into it. So yeah, like I said, so far, this car is super impressive. We're going to step out onto
this road. You guys can get a little bit of a first-hand feel of this car as soon as this
traffic clears up. But all right, we're also going to try out these paddle shifters. We're
going to start off in first, get situated on the gas. Yeah, and these paddle shifters respond
immediately. Wow, that steering feels really good, guys. This is a very, very nice sports SUV.
We'll calm down a little bit because we know that the sheriffs are close. But like I said,
you got a really nice driving SUV. And in sport mode, the steering feels really, really good.
The SUV just feels super planted to the road. Throwing these turns, zero body roll. It feels
very, very sharp. We got to make a left turn right here. But once we get onto this road,
we'll do another acceleration run. But you guys can see this is a very capable SUV.
But all right, guys, we'll throw it into the manual mode. Try a little second gear pull.
Thanks to this guy who just got in front of us. But anyway, just half throttle right here. He's
moving. And half throttle, you do get a pretty good pull, but there is a little bit of lag.
You're going to want to step in the gas a little harder if you want to avoid the lag. But wow,
as soon as you lean into it, you got some serious, serious power. But let's get into this right lane,
throw it back into just regular automatic mode. And you guys can see it's a very nice ride. We'll
throw it back into comfort for the remaining part of this drive. But yeah, as soon as you throw in
the comfort, you feel much less through the wheel. But even still, there's zero play. You can see
that we're changing directions with very little steering input. Very impressive. People behind me
are like, what the hell's going on? But like I said, really nice SUV, great luxury, great
performance. But all in all, guys, huge thanks to Furman BMW for making this review possible.
They're a really nice group of guys. I would definitely recommend anybody in the Florida area
