4K | Rome, Italy

During the last days of winter 2015 I planned to spend a weekend in Rome, the capital of Italy. Because of a flight schedule change and an additional delay of the airline my stay in Rome shrinked to 24 hours. In this short time I tried to see as much as possible of this ancient city. My trip led to the Vatican City where I visited St. Peter's Basilica and attended a speech of Pope Francis. In addition I walked to the many sights in Rome among others the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo.
