With laser welding, each location can be welded in as fast as half a second. With higher welding speeds, we can weld in more places, further strengthening the car body and improving the car's dynamic performance and stability. In 2013, Toyota adopted a method called laser screw welding, which uses melted iron to rotate and weld while rotating the laser. To make even better vehicles, we are looking into ways to further utilize this welding process. We will continue to develop laser welding, which has great potential for the future of car manufacturing.
