Welcome to CarSceneKorea.
I introduce newly released Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia cars.
And I'm here today for prophecy.
And of course, I'm not here to show you just those words, but the one in real.
I have brought to you this prophecy, so-called IONIQ 6.
I mean, you have to see this car in person, but this just is absolutely stunning.
And you guys are thinking, show us the rear design already.
So here you are.
But this is like the killer of all.
Just look at that crazy pixel-inspired rear taillight design.
A bit of a shame that we can't really see this one with the lights on.
But it is just stunning as is.
Before I jump into too much of the exterior design of this car,
As we know, Hyundai is now calling their full EV cars with the name IONIQ.
And that used to be the name of a car alone.
However, now that has it turned into a brand of its own.
IONIQ 6 currently with the name Prophecy as a concept car.
But as we have seen with IONIQ 5, which was 45 EV previously.
But that came out just like 99% identical from the concept that Hyundai has revealed.
And the rumor has it that this is almost the identical car that we'll be seeing with IONIQ 6 as well.
Of course, there will be some of the minor changes here with the spoiler.
Because this is made out of what? Like a glass?
That also has the pixel light embedded on the back.
Except for minor things like the material of the spoiler that we see.
And as well as that missing side mirror.
So other than that, this is pretty much what we will be getting to see.
Look at that gigantic size of the wheels.
A 24-inch wheel on a production model car.
I mean, this is pre-production, but again, we will be getting this wheel when the IONIQ 6 rolls out.
Not only the crazy size of the wheels, but along with the wheels, crazy size of the rotors.
And again, that caliper.
Hyundai has gone above and beyond.
They have implemented those pixels right into the caliper as well.
And looking at this caliper, this caliper is like what? At least a size of an 8P.
And we are seeing the displacement of that we see on a sports car.
Having the heavy big caliper on the rear, closer to the cabin.
Same thing goes for the rear.
The rear caliper is sitting inwards to the cabin as well.
And Kia has EV6 with their EV6 GT and EV6 GT line.
But Hyundai has gone with the naming of IONIQ 5, 6, 7.
And which IONIQ 5 was originally 45 concept.
And IONIQ 6, a prophecy, one we have in front of us now.
And IONIQ 7 is not yet to debut.
IONIQ 5 being CUV, IONIQ 6 being a GT car we're seeing in front of us.
And IONIQ 7 will be a full-size SUV.
And if you come over here, look at the profile of the car.
The fender, the squares over there, the pixels, they're actually covered up.
Whereas these pixels on the doors, they're actually open.
And that's actually an outlet for ventilating system that sucks in the air
and purifies the air that goes into the cabin.
And also purifies the air that goes out as well.
Despite this car being an EV, we are now getting used to that looks of having nothing on the front.
Let's say, we started losing a radiator grill for EV cars.
However, that is not the case for Prophecy.
We see the pixel and squares right in the middle.
The identity of IONIQ.
And just one fact, I want to throw in for the Prophecy.
This design, you may think that you have seen this before.
And if you think so, you're not wrong.
There's been a design called HCD6, which stands for Hyundai California Design 6.
Which was revealed in early 2000.
Nothing on the steering wheel over there.
And also as for the seats, they have used sustainable material for the interior.
And that's the same thing with the seats as well.
So we see a fabric-like and most of the plastic or other parts of the car inside are reusable materials.
I wonder where the license plates will be.
So there might be some of the design change with IONIQ 6 for that matter.
Probably they'll get rid of some of the pixel lights somewhere around there.
Put in the license plate for that matter.
I hope the emblem would come out just like that.
