The "Pharaohs' Parade," officially known as the Pharaohs' Golden Parade, was a grand ceremonial event held in Cairo, Egypt, on April 3, 2021. This historic procession involved the relocation of 22 ancient royal mummies—18 kings and 4 queens—from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to the newly inaugurated National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Fustat. Participants: The parade featured mummies of prominent pharaohs, including Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, and Seti I.

Procession Details: Each mummy was transported in a specially designed vehicle resembling ancient Egyptian funerary boats, adorned with golden decorations and equipped with advanced preservation systems. The vehicles bore the names of the mummies in Arabic, English, and hieroglyphics.
Route & Security: The 5-kilometer route was secured with tight security measures, including road closures and a 21-gun salute upon arrival at the NMEC.Cultural Performances: The event included performances by the United Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Nader Abbassi, with music composed by Hesham Nazih.
