Welcome to Life After Life Channel, where we delve into the profound theme of the ""end"" - an exploration of life's closeness and transitions. Join us on a journey to gain a deeper understanding of the intricacies and meanings of life through a unique perspective on endings and new beginnings."
Okay, I'm Barbara DeLong, and I'm here in the United States in Nashville, Tennessee.
And I did not think she was good, but I thought I'd make her feel good. And I'd say,
sure, of course, I would happily go with her as far as I could go. And at one point,
at three o'clock in the morning, I woke up, and I was in a tunnel. And she was standing next to me.
And I looked at her, and I said, I kind of guessed you died. And she looked at me,
and she said, I kind of think you're right, because I don't recognize where we are.
And I said, well, this is the tunnel. And it was, it was a tunnel. It was all dark.
It was very soft. It was not frightening. It was actually comforting. And she said,
well, where's the crowd? Who's greeting me? What's going on? And I said,
you know, I really don't know. I've never been here myself. And so we stood there for quite a
while. And it was, it's interesting as I think back on it and look back on it. It felt very
comforting. It felt as though we were being embraced by a very comfortable darkness.
And at one point, we looked in the, in front of us, and there was this light,
this little light, almost like a firefly, bouncing up and down. And I said,
I think that's your reception. And she said, a firefly? And I said, you know, you're weird.
It's possible. And as it came closer and closer and closer to us, we realized it was a dog.
And the dog sort of glowed. And it jumped up on both of us. It licked us all over. It licked
her off all over. It was her dog that she'd had for almost 20 years that had passed away.
And, and I said, well, there's, there's your greeting. And she said, let's wait till there's
a person. I don't want to think I'm going in the wrong direction and across a rainbow bridge to
where all the animals are. And I said, you know, okay, we'll wait. And then we saw in the distance,
a group of people. And she said, can you come with me? And I said, do you recognize any of them?
And she said, I do. And I said, okay, then you go ahead, because I don't think I want to actually
cross over right now. So I'm going to wait here until you get to them. I did. And then she turned
and she waved at me. And, and I woke up. Now, one could think that was an amazing dream, except
I was covered with dog slop. I had dog spit all over me. And I had to take a shower. So I knew
that, that, and I don't, I did not have a dog at the time. So I knew that it wasn't, it wasn't
sweat. It was, it was from the dog. And I actually had a paw print. And, and so I went back, I took a
shower, I washed my sheets, and I went back to bed. And in the morning, I called her husband,
and she had passed at exactly that hour. So that's as close as I've come to near death.
Well, this year is going to be a time in which we're going to see more conflict than anything
else. The element of, of upheaval of war, and you've got the war in Ukraine, and you've got
war in Israel, it's going to, they're going to spread. There's not going to be peace.
I would say that there are going to be more wars in that particular part of the country.
And, and that it's going to be difficult for any country to stay out of it. It's going to,
it will escalate into a World War at some point. It may not be this year, but it's going to start
to escalate. I think what, what I'm seeing even more disturbing is the riots that are taking
place in colleges and universities. It's the young people that are becoming angry with whatever is
happening in the world. And they're beginning to protest and they're beginning to reject
societies that have been in place for a very long time. We're seeing
some of our major cities are just falling apart with and with all sorts of homelessness that we've
never had before. It's the world as a whole is going to hell in a handbasket, so to speak.
And not being able to control the U.S. especially. We have no borders anymore.
And the amount of people that are pouring into the country we can't take care of.
And it's not just our country. Other countries are feeling the same thing. Poland and Germany
are having the same type of problems with people flooding them without being able to take care of
them. It's almost as though humanity is going crazy. If you look at it astrologically,
we are at a time where there is a lot of upset, where there is a lot of confusion.
And it's a matter of, it's going to take a major issue of some sort to bring it all into a closure
of some sort. And that means it's going to take a catastrophe of some sort that hits the entire
world. Whether it's an asteroid strike, whether it's famine, whether it's plague, I don't know.
But 24, 25, probably for the next five to 10 years, we're going to have this kind of behavior.
Schools, colleges aren't teaching students anymore. They're indoctrinating them.
They're not giving them the tools to grow. They're indoctrinating them into philosophies
that are not healthy for them. When you look at China, their schools are no longer
as much focused on the intellectual as they are on indoctrinating them into the policies they
want them to follow. In the U.S., in a lot of school systems, they're taking kindergarteners
and trying to explain to them about transgender. It's horrible. And parents can't do anything
about it. And it's going to get worse. It's not getting any better. So 24 is going to be a time
frame where I suggest to people that they homeschool their children if they want them to
get a good education. And as far as teaching them how to become a good part of society,
I mean, colleges are really, for the most part, a place where a child learns to socialize.
And, you know, then if it's medicine or something higher, technology types up,
that they need the extra stuff, they go for extra degrees. But it's frightening to see
a generation that has been indoctrinated and forced to learn about things that they
didn't need to learn about unless it was truly a part of them. And you're seeing
things change so radically in the U.S. that it's hard to believe it's the U.S. anymore,
to tell you the truth. I put a monthly prediction for what the future is holding for that particular
month. And there's also a prediction for what the coming year is going to hold for us.
And so far, it's been fairly accurate. A little scary, but the fact that the weather is becoming
less predictable, the storms are more intense, that there are going to be
upsets worldwide, that cultures are becoming angry within themselves looking to make changes,
that there are disturbances in communities where there are riots, and it's happening
all over the world. I think that the part that disturbs me the most is the weather,
because we have no control over it, at least that we know. And they're saying that this is going to
be a more active year with hurricanes. I live in Nashville where we have tornadoes, and we recently
had storms that literally circled where I live with tornadoes, and it was frightening. And
earthquakes are hitting parts of the world that haven't had earthquakes before.
So in many ways, nature is telling us it's a shake-up time, and I do believe it is.
And it's very sad because there's no need for it. This planet is big enough for everybody,
and there's enough room for everybody. And because we all are part of the same whole,
we should recognize that we are a family, and that's not happening. So I'm not sure
who or what is in control, but it does feel as though—well, I'm sure that there are
groups of people that are trying to take over the world and force us into a one-world order.
I think that that will eventually happen, but I don't think it'll be the best for us.
Because among other things, there are so many different cultures here
that all have great worth and great value, and so many different forms of worshiping the same God.
And it seems to me that the diversity is what makes us so very special.
The thought—it does feel like Mother Nature is trying to shake off, in a way, the fact that
in a way, if you look at the Earth as Mother Nature, it almost looks as though she's trying
to get rid of the infection, and we happen to be the infection. We've been playing with nuclear
weapons. We've been playing with trying to manage the weather. We've been attempting to
make changes in places that they shouldn't be made. So I think that what's happening with nature
is a cycle that has happened before every million or so years. There has been a
major catastrophe that has taken the population down to almost nothing, and then we've had to
rebuild. If you look biblically at the flood, that basically wiped out everybody except a few people,
and those few people didn't do a good job as repopulating the world either.
So astrologically speaking, this cycle has happened five or six or eight or ten times.
The Mayans said we are in the third or fourth world. It may well happen. I don't see
an asteroid hitting the planet, but I do feel that there will be a major issue that will
take the population down. So if the world will have more in the future,
but do you have some forecast when we finish, when the world finishes?
No, the world's not going to finish. The world's going to be fine. Humanity is going to change,
and humanity may well do something that will wipe out a great deal of humanity,
whether it's a plague, whether it's a nuclear explosion, whatever. But the population is going
to decrease, and if you look at the birth rates, they're going down. So the population is decreasing,
not increasing, and I think that that is something that is going to happen over the next 20 or 30
years, so that the population of the world is going to be much, much less in 20 or 30 years
than it is right now, only because we've tried to manipulate things that we had no business
manipulating. I think it's our fault. I think they're already here, actually, and I actually
think that humans are not of this earth. I think humans are interdimensional, that we came
through an interdimensional portal. I don't think we originated here on earth at all,
so we're really the aliens. But as far as the things we see in the sky and the saucers and
everything, at a certain point in time—1947 is about the date—prior to 1947, people saw UFOs
and they didn't think anything of it, and I think those were extraterrestrial. I think those were.
Today, what we see in the sky, you don't know if they're extraterrestrial or if they're the Germans
or the Russians or the Swedish or the Chinese or the Japanese. Everybody has things that they're
experimenting with that they're not sharing. I do believe that as far as UFOs go, as far as
extraterrestrials go, they want nothing to do with us. They're watching for sure, but to become
a part of our civilization is like finding a warring culture and wanting to go in and make
friends with them. We're warriors. We're actually very brutal people. Look what we're doing to
people. You go back to the 30s and the 40s, we were doing it then too. People are destroying
people. That's not harmony. So are there extraterrestrials? Yes, I think there are,
and I think they are underground. I don't think they're mixing with us. I don't think they're
reptilians. I don't think they're ugly. I think they probably look very much like we do,
but they want nothing to do with us. They were here first, as far as I can tell,
and they just are watching us. In Antarctica, I think there are colonies of underground there.
I think there are underground bunkers, if you will, in Alaska. There are other places on this
earth where they have their centers, where I don't know what they use this for, but I don't
believe that they've ever lived on the surface of this planet. In a way, I think we're an infection
to them. I know that lots of times there have been UFOs that have gone over nuclear power plants and
turned things off. They're trying to tell us not to use nuclear power for weaponry,
but I don't think they want to communicate with us because they have technology that is probably
beyond ours. All we would want to use that technology for would be war. Material just
flows through me. There have been times when I've been typing at the computer and somebody has
walked into the room, and I've been able to have a conversation with the person that was in the
room with me, and I was still typing something onto the computer. So the channeled material is
very, very familiar to me. I feel spirit. There are times that when I'm doing a spirit circle
of some sort where I've got a circle of people around me and I bring messages from the other
side to them, quite often I will get in my head, I will see the person that I'm communicating with,
and I will try to give identifying criteria to the person who I'm giving a message to,
to make sure that they recognize who it is that I'm talking to. Sometimes it's a physical
characteristic. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's a memory that they share with me that I
share with the person. I don't always see spirit, but I always know that there's spirit around me,
which is really kind of exciting. I don't know when that's going to happen. That's, you know,
knowing when someone is going to pass over is between them and God. It's, you know, I don't
have anything to say about it. But there are times when you know someone is close because they will,
I see auras and every now and then I can tell someone is not well because they will have a
gray aura. But that doesn't mean they're going to die. It just means that they're not well.
And so it's an amazing gift to have to be able to communicate with spirit.
But that doesn't mean that I have any power to make any change in anything or to give anybody
a warning or anything like that. It's more or less of a being there for them and talking to them
and helping them to understand that death is not an end, it's a beginning.
You mean the spirits that are always around us? When we are born,
the spirit, a piece of the infinite comes into us and animates our body.
We are humans on a spiritual journey. We're not humans on a spiritual journey, we're a spirit
on a human journey. So we all have within us a part of the infinite, a spirit. And that spirit
is what animates us so that each of us has that spiritual energy and that's what fuels this
lifetime. That's what gathers information. That's how we learn the lessons that we need to learn
to go on lifetime after lifetime after lifetime. So we are part of the infinite
and we are part of each other. And I think that's one of the things that so many of us
don't realize that we are one with the universe and therefore we're one with each other.
And so the element of war, of hate, of bitterness, of envy is all ridiculous because we are all
a part of the same whole. And so we do carry a spirit within us. Without that spirit,
we're not here. The body will go away and the soul will go away. But the memory, what we've
learned will go on to whatever next incarnation we choose to have, whether it's on this planet
or whether it's on another planet, another dimension. It is traveling through time and space
for eons and eons and eons, not to return to the source, but to at some point in time,
millions, billions of years in the future, to become a source of creation in another universe.
It's almost a knowing. Sometimes people will get a sign of a spirit that is near you that is not
the one inside of you, would be a feeling of prickling at the back of your neck. The spirit
inside of you is always there. And that's that voice that sometimes talks to you when you're
not paying attention. It tends to try to help you, to guide you, but not tell you what to do.
It knows what you're here to do, but you have free will so that you can choose or not because
there's always another lifetime. And so knowing you have this, it's a matter of faith to know
that you have a part of the infinite within you. And lots of times people's ego gets in the way,
and that's a part of you that only has access to this lifetime. So it will try to give you advice,
but it won't always be the best advice. The ego will tell you what to do. Don't go there,
don't go there, don't speak to him, don't speak to her. The spirit within you will give you
insight into the best way to approach a situation. You can choose to do it or not.
There have been times when I've had that soft advice and I've not paid attention to it,
and I've listened to my ego, and the results have not been good.
Usually the ego is selfish and the spirit is not. The spirit recognizes that there are
parts of every person, even if you don't like them, there's a part of them that is a part of you.
And it's important to recognize that even if they're not behaving as you would like them to,
it's the same thing. I have friends that do crazy things, and I know they know they shouldn't,
but they do it anyhow. And the reality is when they say things are not working out,
things are not doing well, I point out, well, this was your choice, so let's see if we can't
figure out a better way to get out of it. But the situations we come into are all because we
need to learn something. And sometimes they're hard lessons, but they're always for a positive
reason. So spirit is not physically present within your reality, but it is etherically present
within your body. You've got it, it talks to you, it steers you in the right direction,
and it's a good part of you. It's not something that is constantly in your ear,
because you're here this lifetime to learn lessons, and the only way you learn lessons
is by making mistakes. You can't, you know, you can't, many people can tell you about lessons
they've learned from mistakes that they've made. Very few can give you a lesson they learned from
a good experience. Good experiences are often rewards for doing the right thing.
So do you follow any religion? All of them, all of them. I follow, I started out as a
Presbyterian. I went to tons of different churches. I practiced Judaism for a while.
I was a Catholic for a while. Now if I had to put a finger on it, someone once said I was a Gnostic.
I prefer not to be labeled because spirit does guide my life, and I go in and out of everything.
Every religion is founded on the golden rule, so that if you go that far back,
then you're a part of all religions. I don't believe, I don't like being labeled because
a label constricts you and says, okay, this is what you are, this is what you believe in,
and I'm more spiritual. To me, a religion is something you're taught. Spiritual is something
you are, so I prefer to be. I have a spirit within me, not behind me. When we're born,
when children are conceived, the embryo grows, and at some point in time,
life begins. When life begins, that is when the spirit enters the body,
and that spirit is in that body for the rest of its life. When that body dies, that spirit
takes the lessons that it's learned, and it moves into the ether, and it goes into another dimension,
and at some point in time, will reincarnate into another physical form if it needs to learn
lessons in a physical reality. All of our lessons aren't physical. Those that are of an etheric
nature, those that do not require a physical form, the spirit doesn't take a physical form.
But everyone on the planet right now has a spirit inside of them that is gathering
some information that is needed for that spirit's evolution to grow and become greater.
