Why are there pyramids in Mexico?

Teotihuacán is a mysterious ancient city in Mexico-- it's over 1000 years older than the Aztecs, and yet we know very little about the people who lived there. I went there to learn more.

Teotihuacán's main pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun, is one of the largest pyramids in the world. Mesoamerica has a lot of incredible ancient civilizations and archaeology, but Teotihuacan is at the top of the list when it comes to mystery and complexity.
