Last night's NBA playoff games were straight out of a Marvel movie.
Plot twists, explosions, and a dude named Tyrese saving the world in the final seconds.
Let's talk Pacers vs Cavs and Warriors vs Timberwolves because what just happened.
Game 2 in Cleveland was going great for Cleveland. Donovan Mitchell dropped a 48-piece McBucket on
the Pacers and looked like he was auditioning for Hercules II, the jump shot of Olympus.
But with 47.9 seconds left and a 7 point lead,
the Cavs did something bold. They completely unraveled.
First, Nembhard said,
Then Halliburton missed a clutch free throw, got his own rebound, dribbled out, checked the wind,
looked at the stars, saw a vision of Reggie Miller, and hit the game winner from Cleveland's soul.
Pacers win 120-119. That's 2 straight playoff game winners for Halliburton in less than a week.
Man's not playing basketball, he's doing divine intervention.
And now the Cavs are down 0-2 at home, no Mobley, no Garland, no hope.
Nah, we're not saying that. But Cleveland fans, maybe hide your stress jerseys for a couple days.
Out west, things got spicy and confusing. The Warriors beat the Timberwolves without Stephen
Curry. Yeah, Curry went to the locker room early with a hamstring strain and the rest of the team
said bet. Buddy Heal turned into Golden State's emergency splash cousin, 24 points, 5 threes,
and a whole lot of disrespect. Draymond Green hit 4 threes in the first half. I repeat, Draymond
Green hit 4 threes. Somewhere Paul Pierce is screaming into a pillow. And Jimmy Butler had
a vintage all-around performance. 20 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 cups of coffee,
and probably paid somebody's rent at halftime. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves,
they started 0-16 from 3. Anthony Edwards had 1 point in the first half. And Coach Finch said
their transition game was diabolical. You know it's bad when your coach uses villain words.
Final score, 99-88 Warriors. Game 2 is Thursday, but the big question, is Curry okay? Because if
the Warriors are doing this without him, the Timberwolves better start watching game film
and maybe church live streams. Pacers pulled off a heist in Cleveland, the Warriors stormed
Minnesota like it was Game of Zones, and the NBA chaos just keeps coming. Hit that like button,
subscribe for more playoff madness, and let me know in the comments, who's more clutch,
Halliburton or Doordash?
