It's a dynamic week we're heading into. Mars trines Venus all week while Jupiter squares the Nodes and Chiron makes an inconjunct with the South Node. The big shifts continue.
Hello, welcome back to Madrona's Pulse Teachings. I am Iris and we are doing our astrology of the
week ahead. We are talking about the 19th through the 25th of May, which means this is the week
that Saturn enters Aries. So all week we are getting pulled into that last day of this week
when our Saturn will fully be in Aries and be in a dance with Neptune that is going to last
basically until September. So this is a week of that major shift and then next week will also be
the major shift of adapting to that new energy of Aries, of Saturn in Aries. We also have some other
cosmic conversations going on this week, so let us weave a little narrative. How are you doing? I
hope that you are doing well. There's a lot going on, I know. And this week we also, so we do have
the Sun entering Gemini on the 20th, so we will be coming into Gemini season. We also have some
cosmic conversations that are going on all week. So we are going to have Mars trining Venus, Mars
and Leo trining Venus and Aries all week long. We've also got Jupiter square the nodes all week
long. And we also have Chiron in conjunct the south node all week long. So it's a bit of a
dynamic week. Okay, now, especially with Saturn entering Aries, you may even be, I don't know if the
mic is picking up her little purrs, but we are present with Charlotte, who is new to a lot of
you folks because she for the most part lived entirely outdoors in BC and she is trying her
early retirement life as an indoor cat. And she hangs out in this little, what will be my little
witchy office that hasn't really been set up yet. And she's here with us. Okay, so firstly,
Saturn entering Aries is a very big deal. I've been talking about this for a while, lots of
astrologers been talking about this for a while. So this also means that this is the week where we
are journeying with Saturn's last week in Pisces. Okay. And yes, she had she had to have one of
those lion's shades done. So she has a little pom pom tail. And there can be quite a bit of grief.
Not I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Saturn moving through that ending stage of Pisces is
a final exhale. And we did this with Neptune, did it with Venus, a couple of times.
This is the first pass with Saturn. Saturn will go retrograde, it will come back into Pisces,
we will have to do this through different stages. But this is the first stage in which that Saturn
is moving into Aries. And with that move, it's moving through some pretty deep waters internally,
externally. It's also Saturn, which governs our structures, like all of our structures,
it is how we create boundaries, it is how we create boundaries in our own lives, how we create
how boundaries are created for us between what is knowable, and what is beyond our ability to know,
especially with the mind. And so, as this Saturn is switching into Aries, those boundaries and
those core boundaries around what is knowable are changing. And so that also comes with an
incredible amount of release, and letting go, and endings. And again, it's important to remember
that this is part of a longer process. So these could be endings that we're kind of going through
different versions and stages of and new beginnings and different stages of through
to February 2026. Okay, that's the transitional period, then we're really moving forward.
But just knowing that this is a big shift. And there literally is this dissolving, this
collapsing, this releasing of the structures that we've organized, to a certain extent, how we how
we make sense of ourselves in the world. And this is going to be very personal based on in your own
NATO chart where you have that shift from the 29th to degree of Pisces to the zero degree of Aries.
And that's going to be the area in your life where these structures are really shifting.
But just knowing there's a lot. And of course, when a major shift like this is happening,
we might need to move a little slowly, we might have a lot coming up, you might not even be able
to really give words to all that is coming up this week, particularly because it's the final
degree of Pisces. And it is a lot. And, and yet, we're moving in to new embodiments to new fire,
to the building of new structures to new organizations for our own lives. And of course,
for society for what it means to be human. But there is nothing small about these, these shifts.
And as Saturn moves into Aries, it is going to start coming into its very close dance with Neptune.
Who's there at one degrees of Aries now. And they're not going to have their exact conjunction
until February 2026. But they're going to move forward into Aries, and they'll go retrograde
and start moving backwards. And then in September, when they're retrograde, that's when Saturn will
start, they'll start separating a bit. Okay, so but from pretty much the end of this week through to
September, Saturn is coming into that dance with Neptune. And that is rewriting structures that
Neptune and that Aries together, these this is coming into realities that simply weren't possible
before. And so right now we're in that dissolving and breakdown of Saturn going through the end of
Pisces and that needs to be allowed. We can't jump to new reality. That is bypassing what is here.
Here is the final release for this stage. Okay, so just knowing that's that's happening this week
is big. We also have these other energies happening this week. So our Venus trine, Mars.
So Venus is there in Aries and Mars at 15 degrees of Leo. So we have a fire trine. Now this is
really significant because we have been journeying so much with first Mars was retrograde then Venus
retrograde. Mars is the ruler of Aries which brings in another layer of the powerful
fire energy that is surging through us this week. Okay, this is creative energy. This is
passionate energy. So this is really also something to lean into amidst this kind of
dissolving of Saturn that I was just talking about. And knowing that while these these massive
structures in the collectives and then of course in our own lives and how we journey through
various collectives, how how that is kind of being taken apart so that it can come into new life.
And it's not taken apart so that it can be put back together. It is taken apart so that a whole
new being can emerge with that Saturn and Neptune together. It is not like we it's really not
predictable what that's going to be because Neptune brings in other realms and this is
Saturn creating structure out of other realms. But this week there's this very personal creative
surge of that Venus who now is out of her shadow period. She is forging ahead in Aries in what
do you desire for your soul's journey in this life. This is not desire that comes you know
this is not a desire that wants to come out of loss or grief or trying to measure up and just
kind of compare myself to others. And especially when Aries is comparing itself to others it's
moving from fear, very strong fear. This is a Venus who has gone through her retrograde, who
had to go back through that birth canal, the cosmic birth canal, and then come through it again.
She has shed so much around how we can grow through decades of having values that have
kind of been put on to us, that we've inherited, that we kind of try and build our fire around.
And this Venus shed those values. This Venus has been rebirthed in the cosmic womb, come through,
so that we can have soul-driven desire and passion and love that we go after in this life.
Trining Mars, who now is in Leo, who after Mars is retrograde. This is not about a Leo performance
so that others can validate it, so that it can feel like it's the center of attention and not
have a strong sense of self. And then it keeps seeking that validation from external sources
and it creates a very, very vicious loop, which when Leo gets caught in, it just gets a big,
messy, insecure self. When Leo is moving after the primal drive to create, to feel creative energy
and just shine in that process of creating, and it's not shining so that others can just praise
it. It's shining because it feels so good to be doing what it loves and its love is coming from
its soul connection to divine source. That is merging with our desire, our primal desire, our
action to love and to love life in a way that by loving life, we're loving ourselves and we're
loving goddess. That's what Venus is bringing on the table. And we get to pursue that with this
Mars. This Mars who has went on such a journey in Cancer about that merging of vulnerability and
strength and that Mars brings that wisdom forward. This is one of the issues that can happen with
astrology, especially with the way that social media has come in, is we kind of think like,
oh this thing happens on this day. Like we just had Uranus and the Sun conjunct last week
and we talk about it and it's like, okay this day. But that that Sun is bringing that energy
with Uranus for its whole next cycle. And that layer is there and this is why
embodied astrology is something that's very different than when it's just this kind of
intellectualized astrology. And we're journeying with it and we're learning and we're reflecting
and we're experiencing and it is phenomenological and it is here. And so we're bringing all of that
together with all that Mars has been on its journey with and that lesson of strength and
vulnerability and bringing that into passion and that is now talking with Venus. And that's here
all week. It's exact on the 22nd. So these first few days of the week, we're building towards it
exact on the 22nd, but we're still moving with it through the end of this week. So that energy
is bringing some fire passion, which hopefully it will help if you are someone who is moving
through a season of grief right now. And as I said with the Saturn, that can be strong.
Leaning in to what really feels like you love. What do you love? What is passion for in this
life? And if you're stumped there, journaling with it, really feeling into it, seeing what
you're being attracted to, you know, whether it's attracted to nature or to some show you start
watching and then do a little self analysis with the archetypes in the show and what's coming up
and what is feeding you and what can feed you in your own life and what can we pursue. And that
is here. OK, now we also have Jupiter square the nodes all week and we also have Chiron in
conjunction with the south node all week. OK, so this is, you know, on the one hand that Jupiter
square the nodes can be a little bit of a clearing out. It can really be, you know, Jupiter is in
Gemini. It is squaring the nodes. Our south node is in Virgo. Our north node is in Pisces. And that
Jupiter square the nodes can really be helping us to kind of clear out the ideas and especially
the habits that really are serving us, that are really potentially even driven by perfectionism,
that are driven by insecurity and feeling like we need to perform perfectionism.
Potentially also parts of our lives and in it could come up in work and how we communicate
and how we use language and how we think ideas of what we've been pursuing. If they've been
driven by that kind of attachment to an idea of idealism or perfectionism, either of those can
show up in Virgo shadow or fear driven Virgo. And that's what the south node is letting go of,
letting go of control. There is no perfectionism. There is leaning into that north node in Virgo.
We do every, we do our due diligence. We do the paperwork. We have everything
moving in alignment with what the situation requires. And we also know when we've shown up,
when we've done what we can do and then we let go and we give it over to source spirit
divine and we give it to Pisces. And if we did what we can do and it's still not working out,
then we listen to the flow of Pisces and we say, oh maybe I actually don't need to be doing this
or maybe I can let this go and I'm just going to keep moving with something or I'm going to go in
a new direction. Maybe a whole new idea birthed itself. Okay. And that Jupiter brings that kind of
that can, you know, that birthing itself of new ideas of new directions and new thoughts of new
understanding that could be really powerful right now. And it most likely is going to come by letting
go of the ideas, the projects, the plans that are just not serving us anymore. Okay. It doesn't mean
and letting, and this is really, it's letting go of attachment. Okay. Because it doesn't mean that
we necessarily just quit overnight, whether it was a project or a job, or I mean, maybe you do,
but not all of us are in a position where we can do that. It's not always the wisest thing for our
wellbeing, but we can let go of attachment and we can let go of attachment and allow that birthing
of new ideas to just come in. And that Jupiter could really be supporting with that. And as that's
going on, Chiron and Aries at 25 degrees of Aries is in an inconjunct with that South Node in Virgo.
And so the inconjunct can be a bit of a push and pull. It can be a bit of a tension. It can be a
bit of something coming to a head and that way we see it or we move through it. And this is, you know,
between the inconjunct is two different energies, you know, that Virgo has a diligence to it. It
likes to know where it's going. It likes to know the plan. It likes to have all of its T's crossed.
It likes to know what it needs to do. Aries wants to feel what it wants to do and it wants to go
after it. Okay. And so again, that South Node, we are letting go of just that attachment and in letting
go, there may be something that comes forward for the healing of the self, especially if we've been,
especially if we've been out of, you know, out of survival, out of conditioning, out of just having
to pay the bills. If we have been really attached to certain aspects of our, of our life, but how we
approach something like work, how we approach family, how we approach relationship, it depends
where you have Virgo in your chart, but it's in our attachment that by letting that go, similar
to the Jupiter Square, the South Node, but here there's something healing that wants to come
through in our sense of self, in our primal fires, because that Chiron is the wounded healer and that
it's deep. It's soul deep. Chiron is soul deep. There's nothing surface about Chiron.
Sometimes Chiron is actually, it's below the story. You know, it's, it's, it's the way that through,
whether it's various relationships in one life or various lives, there's that energetic pattern
and that's the wounding. And then there's different stories that get woven through with it,
but Chiron wants to take us into that energetic patterning and it wants to heal in there.
And it also recognizes that the idea of perfect healing, of completely cured, doesn't really exist
because that's not really what we're here for, but there's so much wisdom and progress and change
and wisdom that comes as we go through those different layers and realities and realms of
healing. And so with that in conjunction to the South Node, which is the karmic signature,
that there could be some, there could be some deep healing that's coming from, again,
letting go of that attachment. Also Virgo, Virgo attachment is also attachment to any romanticizing
of the martyr archetype. Okay. Especially as we are, all of us are now working with that South
Node in Virgo, it is not a life to be a martyr. It is a life to show up, to hold commitment and
dedication in a sacred way, but be driven by connection to the divine. And when Virgo is
attached to the idea of service, that's when it falls into actually an ego-driven, sometimes,
idea of service. And that's some of the gucky stuff of South Node in Virgo that's being let go.
And as if any of that resonates with you at all, letting go of that, that's going to help that
primal Aries wound heal because Aries needs to go after its fire. That's what it's here to do.
And so that is, that's another dynamic energy of this week. Okay. So there's a lot this week that
we're kind of moving through and balancing. And yet the biggest movement of this week is that
Saturn is moving with that Saturn as we, on the 25th, journey with Saturn into Aries. And,
and I mentioned it really briefly, but I do just want to give a little more narrative to
Gemini season. Happy solar return to our Gemini suns out there because on the 20th,
the sun is going to shift from Taurus into Gemini and we move from earth into air.
Okay. And that's solar drive. And this could be welcomed because we also have just had,
we had a really dynamic Scorpio full moon. And so there was a lot of Taurus and Scorpio polarity.
And so the sun moving into air can be a little bit of freshness coming in because we're moving
into that energy of ideas and communication, moving between different perspectives,
conversations, and shining through the idea plane. Right? So you do just, just welcoming
that Gemini energy as we move with it. And that is it. So I'm sending blessings as always.
I was going to say the next time I see you, Saturn will be in Aries. And most likely that's
true. But I also couldn't make a video before that because we don't know when one's going to
be made, but either way, we're in a big shift this week and I will see you soon.
