Alcaraz Faces Musetti; Sinner Battles Paul | Rome 2025 Semi-Final Highlights

And history does repeat itself. Just got there in time. Spaniard convinced it was a double bounce by the look of it. Those two ridiculous forehands. How nasty was that first one? Sublime. That's another miss. Another great dig though. From Carlos Alcaraz. Gone to that wide serve again. 75% of the time. It's an immediate response. Well he's hit a number of... A special point! Forehand in, some more damage for Mosetti. And he's having similar problems defending his second serve. The wind was grabbing that viciously. Defies the odds on the second deal. Carlos Alcaraz makes his first final at the four. The perfect start. Oh and he's made that as well. What a remarkable start this is. And he's got a rather unfortunate bounce. There was nothing unfortunate about the way Tommy Paul played that opening set from start to finish. Is he starting? Devastating. Finds a way to bridge the defences eventually. Yeah that was plenty of space with which to operate for Sinner there. Lovely feel. It's a business for Yannick Sinner. Indefensible. Would you believe it? He may have been slightly disturbed. He wants it in. Like that. He's done so and has the physical issues that... Just guessed. And that wide stance on the backhand. Heartbreaker for the American. Ready for play, thank you. Slightly into it. And Tommy Paul will be kicking himself I'm sure. And he did, brilliantly. Just as Sinner was about to hit that pass he just charged to his left. A little extra angle did it. Yannick Sinner becomes just the third Italian male in the Open era to make the final in Rome. SINNER
