COLLEGE DAY IN MY LIFE *sophomore at UCLA*

Good morning. It's five in the morning. Can you believe that these are day two heatless curls? I feel like once I brush through them, it'll be perfect. That already puts me like in a good mood. Wait, they're looking good. They're kind of good. Okay, so on today's agenda, first rule of action after I like get ready for the day is I'm going to go and get breakfast. It's so aesthetic in the morning too, like you don't feel like you're out of school. You feel like you're up in the trees in a really cool cafe. I already had a final last Wednesday. My next final is going to be on Tuesday, so we're locking in. We must. I'm probably going to end up studying with some friends later on, like throughout the day. I'm also going to go like onto campus and go to the library probably during the day, but definitely tonight. Oh, I have to fill you in on something. I'm actually going on a study date tonight, so that'll be fun. I don't know what you're thinking, like girl, you've got school in the morning, but like I studied with him not yesterday, but the day before, and I actually got so much work done. I think because I was like, oh my God, I can't like dilly dally doom scroll when this man is like staring at my computer screen, so it's productive. That's the only part of my day that I'm not going to vlog for obvious reasons, but I will update you guys after it, obviously, so yeah. Oh my God, wait. I actually have to tell you guys a hilarious story. Okay, so the time before last time that I studied with him, we do other things besides study, but anyways, I was at the library with some of my friends. My guy friends were there. My guy friends have like heard of this guy, obviously, and I need to stop using the word guy because I feel like it's going to make the story really confusing. I'll just say like library guy. Okay, so I'm at the library with my guy friends, and library guy comes, like I run into him like unplanned, and my guy friends like know about him, and so they obviously know that he's there, and okay, I don't know if library guy was aware of this, but if not, he probably will be now. The three guy friends that were there, one of them literally made like five walking laps around the library just to like get a good look. I was like, that's crazy. That's literally insane, and the part of the library we were in, dead silence. Like heads down, people are locked in, so that's the vibe, and one of my guy friends who's normally like super quiet, chill guy goes, that's the guy Charlotte's talking to out loud in the dead silent library, and I was just like, okay. And then the other friend goes, okay guys, on the count of three, we're all going to look at him. One, two, and then they all turn their heads and look. It's literally my worst nightmare. It's like, you know when you tell someone like, look, but don't make it obvious. They did the opposite. They were like, look, and we're going to make it as obvious as possible. So at that point, I was like, I left. Not the library, like I left my guy friends, and then I went and sat with the guy, because I was like, I can't do this. I was going to have everyone sit together, because like library guy's friends were there. So I'm like, is that morally bad that I ditched my guy friends? Like maybe, but they didn't really give me a choice. I was like, okay, I'm going to do the rest of my makeup off screen. I'll see you guys in a sec. Makeup is done, and now I'm going to pick out an outfit. The goal is for the outfit to feel the most like pajamas, because like I'm going to change before I actually go about my day, but like this is my breakfast, dining hall fit. I'm probably not going to see a single soul, because it's so early. Although I shouldn't say that, because every time you think you're not going to see people is when you see everyone you know. Like why does that always happen? And then on the days when like I do like the full glam, and my hair is done, I run into no one. I'm going to wear these gray sweats. They're from Peppermayo, and they're the kind of like sweatpants that are so thick, they're just like a little blanket. Perfect for studying. My sister borrowed this sweater, and I can tell because it smells like her perfume. Also wait, the sun is rising. Guys, look at the sunrise. So pretty. I'm going to add some accessories, just because I'm such a firm believer in like look good, feel good, do good. Like I'm going to be more productive if I'm in a good mood, and like like my outfit. Do you guys ever like go to sleep thinking about your breakfast, or like thinking about your coffee? Because I swear like this one breakfast I get here is so good. I miss it when I'm back home. So we're going to go to B-Plate. Here's the outfit of the day. Okay, so I'm here with Ash, and funny story. So this is like a day in the life, and when I was filming like me getting ready, I was telling them about what happened at the library with the guy friends, and that guy crossover event. So I go to breakfast, I can't check the surroundings, I go to breakfast, and on my own I'm like I'm going to just lock in, text me, and it's like do they have this food in the dining hall at breakfast? And I was like yes they do. And he was like okay I'm coming. I'm like okay well I'll save you a seat. So then he pulls up, and that's the friend who was trying to embarrass me in the library. And then the library guy texts me, he's like I'm coming. We all got breakfast together. Wow. Um, yeah. Crazy crossover. I know. But it was really fun. It was a good breakfast. And now we're locking in for real. I mean I've just been like sleeping, so. She just showed me all of her notes, and they're so good. They're beautiful. Yeah that was like yesterday though. But that's still a walk-in. Yeah. Also, guess what they have today? What? They have the Acai Bofu truck. That might be my lunch. That will be my lunch. I already kind of planned it out. Okay, perfect. We're going to lock in for real. She's doing math, I'm going to do my marketing. Thank you. Okay, taste test. Except we've already eaten. We've been. We've been taste testing. Okay. Strawberry. Mmm. I don't know why. I haven't gotten this a single time this year. I always get them for free. These are way better. They're so good. Also, look at this innovation that Ashlyn did. She put all of her toppings in the lid. Not all of my toppings. Oh, trust me. I got more. She's maximizing. Which is so good. Oh my god. It's so good. Dragon fruit. Look how pretty. Mmm. Wait, yeah. That is really pretty. I have been laying in bed for maybe the past like half hour. I studied with Ash for like three hours though, so I got a ton of work done, which was really good. It was actually a super fun break. I've been responding to your guys' comments, which is like one of my favorite things to do. And every time I read the comments, I'm like, how is this my real life? Like I am so, so, so, so lucky and not to get like sappy in my feels, but you guys are so sweet. I don't know. Like I could go on and on. Thank you for being so sweet and so kind. I love you guys. Okay. Not to get, not to get sappy. Yeah. I don't think a nap is in my cards. So I think instead of napping, I'm going to clean my room because right now, okay, I'm looking at this. I'll show you. Okay. Clean girl. I think I'm going to go deal with that because I don't want to look at it. No, we're going to declutter and Sunday reset and get this entire dorm very clean to go into the week. Refresh. I feel so much better when my room is clean. Also, I don't know about you guys, but like watching time-lapses of people cleaning or studying, it's like the best motivation. It took me four minutes. It looks so much better. Also, I went to the mail room and I picked up a few packages and I thought it'd be fun to unbox it with you guys. We'll do this one first because I feel like I know what it is. It's from Youth To The People and literally this is the facial cleanser that I use every single day, except they kind of made the packaging like more artistic, so I'm kind of excited about that. I've been using like the older packaging for a couple of years, honestly. Look how cute that is. I love it. That's so cool. And then the next one. This package is from Laura Mercier. Aw, they did a little card with my name on it and look at how beautiful this person's handwriting is. If only my notes looked this good. That's so sweet of them. Open up the package. Oh my goodness. Wait, there's so many. There's so many things in here. The first one is like an almond coconut body serum. Oh my goodness. It smells like a spa. Ooh, they sent me some of their like eye crayons, which is so good because it's kind of like a really easy way to do eye shadow. This is a lip gloss. They're really pretty mauve color. It has like a little sparkle to it too. And then the next one is Josie Moran. I am genuinely addicted to Josie Moran products. I use their lotion all the time, which is what this is. Oh wow. This looks so cool. They made a new body butter that is supposed to smell like California. They sent me the new fragrance and then some restocks as well. Okay, it's currently 8 17 and I literally have been in the lounge for the last two hours like studying with my floor friends and yapping and he's gonna be here in 15 minutes ish. So I'm pretty much ready. I'm just gonna do my hair. I don't really know what I should do with my hair because I'm like, am I gonna get annoyed with it down? Probably. Does it look better down? I don't know. What do you guys think? Okay, this is like down. What would I do? Maybe I'll take, maybe I'll do like a little something here with the front pieces. I'm gonna see what we can do. It's also always so misty outside. So I feel like if I'm gonna leave the front sections out, I have to like style them. Actually I think I'm gonna do this higher. I think this is the move. I think I'm gonna do bun, maybe. Yeah, that's studious. Let me see what the back looks like here. Is it good? I don't know. Was it better down? Whatever. I'm gonna fix the front pieces because I don't really have time to change it. The outcome of these front pieces is going to determine whether I am in a wonderful mood or crash out. First, we go forward and under and get a little something and then I kinda like pretend it's a roller with my fingers a little bit. You flip and then you do it backwards. Oh my god, that looks worse. Okay, don't look at how it looks. I'm gonna fix it. Don't worry. Okay, we're gonna try this again. I'm actually excited though and now I'm at like a good place with my studying where I can kinda have like some fun tonight. Like I can half-yap, half-study. But let me just see what this looks like because I'm impatient. Okay. She does what she needs to do. Okay. Wait, this side is really good. Okay, time for the lips. I'm gonna touch up the liner just slightly. This liner is actually a miracle. Like it stays on all day and I have like had meals and I've had coffees where I'm drinking out of a mug, you know? That kinda messes up your lips most of the time but this stuff doesn't do that. And then on top of that, I'm just gonna use some YSL and then, okay. I don't like my hair. I'm taking it down. I don't know. As if it matters at all. Okay, I'm not insane, I promise, but I did redo my hair. But it looks better. Like I did the hack where, you know, you do a separate chunk so it has like a little volume and extra poof and I can do a tutorial on that if you guys wanna see it. But yeah. Okay. Oh, perfume. And for perfume, I literally kinda just like, moment of truth. Okay. Hahaha. Okay. See? It was the right decision to redo it. You know? Like this looks better. This is like, exactly what I was going for. Is it that big of a difference? Absolutely not. But at least I feel better about it. Okay, so I'm gonna head out and I will see you guys when I'm back. Okay, wait, guys. I'm back. It was really fun. I think I'm just gonna get ready for bed and call it a night. Update. I did not go to sleep. I'm in a group chat with everyone who lives on my floor and I got the best message I could have possibly received. One of the girls just said, hi, I got a free extra boba drink and I left it outside of room number in case anyone wants a finals pick-me-up. And then she said what it was, she goes, it's 50% sweet jasmine lactose-free milk tea with honey boba. Please take it off my hands. I have been craving boba all day and I've never had teaspoons. So boba taste test. It says, take me free finals caffeine. Okay, let's try it. That's so good. I love life. Today has been such a good day. People are so nice here. Because she could have so easily like given it to her roommates or friends or just even put it in her fridge and saved it for later, but she like gave it away and was so nice about it too. And it was crazy. He's like, I'm so sentimental. I'm not even going to get rid of this fire. Okay, well, I feel like this is a good place to end the video.
