In today's lesson, we will continue to learn some commands about drawing power and display drawing in the drawing environment, in Inventor.
These are some commands that we will learn in today's lesson.
The first command is the correct command.
Create a rectangle.
And the correct command will be used in which case?
For example, we have a shape like this.
This is a rectangle.
And when we put it in A3, with a ratio of 2.1 for example, its size exceeds the paper thickness.
In that case, we can draw at this position.
We can draw at this position.
These are the positions where the shape of the detail is relatively monotonous.
And we can draw that part.
To do that, we use the correct command.
If we want to draw a shape, we will click on that shape.
We click on the correct command.
Here we will have some options.
The first option is style.
We will have two styles.
The first style is a rectangle shape.
We can change the size of the rectangle by dragging and sliding.
The second style is a rectangle shape.
We can drag and slide here to change the size of the rectangle.
In this area, we will have a ratio of the size of the two lines.
This is the distance from the left line to the right line.
Here I put 6.
And symbols is the number of exact signs.
The number of exact signs is 1.
We will see that there is only one line.
If I increase it to 2, for example,
we will see that there are two exact signs on the diagonal line.
In addition, we also have two options for orientation.
Depending on the calculation, we will choose the first symbol or the second symbol.
The first symbol is for a rectangle shape.
We will draw a rectangle.
The second symbol is for a rectangle shape.
We will draw a rectangle.
If we want to draw a rectangle, we will click the two dots.
For example, I want to draw a rectangle in the middle.
The first dot I will click is at this point.
Then move the mouse and click the second dot.
Click the second dot.
Click the mouse.
We see that because we set it to 2, there are two exact signs.
The distance from the first dot to the second dot is 6.
To change the options, we can click on the object of these two dots.
For example, change the shape.
Change the shape.
This is the rectangle shape.
The distance between the two rectangles is 3.
Click OK.
We see that the shape of the rectangle has changed from a rectangle to a rectangle.
The distance from the first dot to the second dot is 3.
We can also draw a rectangle from here to here.
I will do this command again.
Use the break command.
Click the mouse on the display.
I will use the command to draw a rectangle.
Use the break command.
The distance between the two rectangles is 3.
Click the first dot.
Click the second dot.
The next command is the break command.
This command is used to draw a rectangle.
In the case of detailed drawing or assembly drawing.
We will have an example later.
For example, I have this detail.
In this detail, there is a hole on the left.
In the middle, there is a line.
On the right, there are some holes.
At the positions where there are lines or holes.
We will have to cut it out to see the structure inside.
When we perform it on the drawing board.
There is a rectangle and a rectangle.
We will get like this.
I want to draw a rectangle to see the hole inside.
We will have to execute the break command.
Before executing the break command.
We need to draw a rectangle in the area we want to cut.
We will click the mouse on the start sketch command.
We choose the display image.
We draw a rectangle on that display image.
I will click the mouse on the front image.
To draw a rectangle.
We have many ways.
You can use the rectangle, circle, line or spline command.
In this case, I will use the circle command.
It will draw a rectangle in this position.
Then click the finish sketch button to finish drawing the rectangle.
Execute the break command.
Choose the display image.
At this time, we have to choose the display image.
We have a few options.
The next option is the profile.
Choose the rectangle.
In the case that there is only one rectangle on this drawing board.
The computer has already selected it for us.
We don't have to choose anymore.
The rectangle will be changed to blue like this.
In the case of many rectangles.
We have to use the profile command to choose the rectangle.
The next option is the depth.
Choose the depth to cut.
We have 4 options.
We will choose one by one.
The first option is from point.
Cut from point to point.
We can understand it from point to point.
For example.
In this case, I will choose to cut from this point.
I will click on it.
To what point?
It will be determined by the distance at this position.
If the distance here is 0.
The distance will pass through this point.
At this time, I just need to click OK.
The cut on that part will be cut at the center of the hole.
To make it easier to use, we can use the projected command.
We draw a rectangle.
The point at this position is the point I have chosen.
The distance will pass through the center of this point.
Because the distance is 0.
It will pass through that point.
We will have some changes.
To understand more about this project call command.
I will click the mouse button on the project call.
Or point the mouse to the project call.
Then right click and choose Edit Project Call.
This is also from this point.
But now I change the distance a little.
For example, I increase it to 3.
From this point to 3 mm.
The distance will be parallel to the rectangle.
And it is 3 mm away from the center of the hole.
Now we determine.
Now we just need to click OK to finish.
It is clear that it goes deeper than the first cut.
1 segment is 3 mm.
It will go deeper than 1 segment is 3 mm.
From the position is the point we click the mouse.
One more example to make it clearer.
For example, the distance of this hole.
The radius of this circle is 17.50.
I will change a little about the parameter.
Breakout I change.
It is still the point in the middle.
But now I give 10.50.
Then the distance will definitely be in contact with this circle.
So it will not cut this rectangle.
It will cut the part in the middle of the detail.
I will click OK.
That's it.
The part that will be in contact with the rectangle.
Next we will have another line.
We have another line.
I will continue to cut the area at the position of this line.
As I said, first we have to use the start sketch command.
Click the mouse to select the rectangle.
And then draw a rectangle.
In this case, to draw an exact rectangle.
I will use the superline command.
It will click the mouse many times.
And we have to close this image.
If it is not closed, the machine will not be able to cut the part.
I will click the mouse to finish the sketch.
Next, use the Breakout command.
Click to select the rectangle.
If we choose Front Point.
We can choose the center point.
If we choose the center point, we just need to enter the size is 0.
If we choose a point, such as here.
We need to enter the size by the radius of this circle.
To make it simple, I will click the mouse to select the center point.
And then click OK.
This line will be cut at the distance of the center point of the line.
The next command in the Breakout command is to sketch.
Cut to a 2D model.
To do this, we need to draw a sketch.
I will delete the cut part in this position.
First, use the Start Sketch command.
I will do it again.
First, use the Start Sketch command.
Then select the rectangle.
If you want to cut on the rectangle, press the To Sketch command.
The sketch must be drawn on the rectangle.
At this time, we have to draw a sketch on the rectangle.
We can use the Line command to draw a straight line.
Or the Subline command to draw a curved line.
These are the tools we can use to create sketches.
For example, I use the Subline command.
I will draw a straight line like this.
In this case, our sketch can be even or even.
We click Finish Sketch.
The area we want to cut must be drawn on the rectangle.
To do the To Sketch command, we need to draw a rectangle.
This is the area we want to cut on the rectangle.
Next, we need to draw a sketch on the rectangle.
Then use the Breakout command.
Select the rectangle.
We use the To Sketch command.
The symbol of selecting the sketch has been activated.
Now we have to draw a sketch on the rectangle.
Draw a sketch on the rectangle.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I haven't chosen the profile yet.
Because there are two profiles here.
I will choose one.
After selecting the To Sketch command,
I will choose this curve.
This is the sketch.
Then I click OK to finish.
Now I will draw a sketch on the rectangle.
Let's take a closer look.
We can see that when I draw a sketch like this,
the cut area will have the same shape.
In this case, there are two sketches,
so I have to use the Profile function to select the right rectangle.
The next command in the Breakout command is the To Hole command.
To Hole is to go through the center of a hole.
Before doing this command,
I will draw another rectangle.
I want to cut at the position of this hole
to see the shape of the hole here.
First, I will use the Start Sketch command
and select the rectangle.
Then I use the Supply command
to determine the area I want to cut.
Actually, the area I want to cut is this area.
This must be a curved rectangle.
After that, I click on Finish Sketch.
We use the Breakout command to select the rectangle.
We select the rectangle with a curved rectangle on it.
Click on it.
Now I use the To Hole command.
To make it easier to understand what To Hole is,
we will see that on the right side of the detail,
there are 4 small holes,
and 1 big hole.
So we have to choose the right hole.
If we want to go through the biggest hole,
which is the middle of the detail,
we can choose the hole in the middle
or the two small holes on both sides.
Or we can click on the rectangle.
We will click on this big hole.
On the rectangle, we can click on the circles.
For example, I click on this circle.
After that, I click OK.
The hole will go through the middle of the two small holes on both sides.
Now I don't want the cut part to go through the middle of the detail like this,
but it only goes through the hole in the front.
So how do I do it?
First, I will delete it and do it again.
Right-click on the corresponding Breakout command
and click Delete to delete it.
At this time, the right part will not be blocked anymore.
I will do the Breakout command again.
Right-click on the rectangle.
I will use the toolhole option.
When choosing the hole,
I will choose on the rectangle or rectangle.
However, if you choose on the rectangle,
it is very difficult for the computer to know where the front hole is and where the back hole is.
After that, I will choose on the rectangle.
I will choose the front hole.
After that, I click OK.
In this case,
the cut part will go through the front hole.
In short, when choosing a hole,
we can choose a hole on a rectangle or a hole on a rectangle.
As long as we can choose the exact hole that we want the cut part to go through,
I will Ctrl-Z to go back
and explain more about the Breakout command.
We have one last option, True Part.
The True Part option is to cut through the details.
In the case we want to draw a drawing to create details,
this command does not need to be used.
Because if we use the True Part command,
it will cut through the whole area inside the rectangle.
We just need to choose more details
and click OK, it will cut through this area.
This command will be used more in the case of drawing a drawing.
It will be used more in the case of drawing a drawing.
Because on the drawing board, there will be many overlapping details.
We can choose which details we want to cut through.
Let's look at an example.
This is a product called Keto,
which is used to fold the details in the middle.
When we perform it in a 2D environment,
I will put it in the form of a rectangle and a rectangle.
To see the overlapping structure clearly,
at the position where there is a screw here,
I will have to use the Cut Part command at that position.
First, I will use the Start Sketch command to select a rectangle
and use the Subline command to draw a rectangle in this area.
After drawing the rectangle,
I will use the Finish Sketch command to finish drawing.
I will use the Paragraph Count command to select a rectangle.
The computer will tell me that the line is not a straight line.
In this case, we will have to draw the line again.
We will check to see if the line is straight or not.
Or we will have to draw it again.
Click OK and I will have to draw it again.
In this case, I am at fault.
The line is not a straight line, so we can't cut it.
I will delete it and draw it again.
Use the Start Sketch command to select a rectangle.
Now I will be more careful in drawing the line.
Remember that we have to close the line.
Click Finish Sketch.
Use the Breakout command to select a rectangle.
We will choose the True Path command.
After that, we want to cut it in this area,
but through which part?
We will have to choose the part by using the Selector command.
I want to cut it through this part.
This part is called the Collar.
We want to cut through the Collar.
Click OK.
OK.
The whole area of the inner details will be seen.
Because the Collar part will be cut through.
It will leave the remaining details.
To make it easier to see, we will use the Projected command.
We will output the shape of the rectangle.
I can set it to the shadow mode to make it easier to see.
This part is cut through.
The Collar part is cut through.
We will see the inner details.
So the True Path command in the Breakout command
will be used in the drawing environment for a product.
Before moving to another command,
we will talk more about the Breakout command.
But we have another option, which is the Opacity section.
If we pay attention, if we create details in the drawing,
this function will be hidden.
Because it only has one detail.
However, in the drawing environment,
this function is displayed because it has many details.
I use the From Point function, for example,
and choose the point that goes through the middle point of this line.
If we leave the Opacity section,
and press OK,
we will see the difference.
It will be cut through this whole area.
The Breakout command,
we will see the difference between leaving the Opacity section and choosing the Opacity section.
In this case, I do not use the Opacity section function.
In this case, I change to use the Opacity section function.
If we look closely, we will see that it is the same.
However, it is different in the following way.
If we use the Breakout command
and do not cut all the details,
if we do not cut all the details,
if we do not put the element here,
we will have one more way to display.
We will display the details that we do not want to cut.
For example, this part is the screw part.
This is the screw part.
Now it is displaying that it has been cut.
If we want it not to be cut,
we will have to right-click it
and use the Section Participation function
and use the Null function.
If we use the Null function,
it will show up.
If we want to do that,
in this Breakout command,
we have to leave the Opacity section.
At this time, it can only be displayed as it is.
If we click on this,
it will not be displayed like that.
Similarly, with the screw part,
for example,
if we want to display it completely,
we will do the same.
Right-click it
and select Section Participation
and select Null.
It will show up.
It will show up
both on the display image
as well as on the measurement structure.
So we will just see
both the cut details
and all the details
that we want to display.
The next command is
the Slice command,
which is to draw the cut surface.
I will show you
one or two examples
in this demo image.
First, I will delete it.
I will set the ratio of this image
to be a little smaller
so that we can see the cut surface.
I will set the ratio to 1.2
and click OK.
Now,
if I want to draw the cut surface
at this position,
the cut surface
will be placed
at the position of the side view.
To execute the Slice command,
I have to show the side view.
This is the side view.
Right-click it and select Create.
Use the Slice command.
If you want to draw the cut surface
at this position,
the cut surface
will be placed
at the position of the side view.
So I have to select the side view.
Before that,
we have to draw a sketch
that goes through
the area that I want to cut,
which is called the cut surface.
I will cancel this command
to draw
the cut border
or the cut surface.
I will execute the Start Sketch command.
Select the side view.
I will use the Line command
to draw the sketch.
In this case, I draw the sketch
on this line.
Press Enter to end the command.
Then select Finish Sketch.
Execute the Slice command.
Select the side view.
After that, I will click the mouse
on this line.
I have to click the mouse
and click OK.
The cut surface
will be replaced by the side view.
It will be placed
at the position of the side view.
I will make one more example.
For example, I want to cut
at this position.
First, I have to
select the side view.
Right-click and select Create.
After that,
I have to draw
a straight line.
This is
the cut surface.
It will be placed at the position I want.
I will use the Start Sketch command.
Select the side view.
I will use the Line command
to draw a straight line.
For example, I want to cut at this position.
Right-click.
Press Enter to end the command.
Then select Finish Sketch.
Execute the Slice command.
Select the side view.
Right-click and select Sketch.
This is the straight line.
Right-click and select Slice.
Press OK.
The cut surface will be drawn like this.
If we want to move the cut surface
to another position,
we can move it to that position.
However,
if we want to move it
to the bottom,
we cannot move it.
Because it is connected
to the main axis.
Before we move it,
we can break the connection
with the Break Alignment command.
Right-click on the line
and select
Break Alignment.
Select
Break Alignment.
Now the cut surface
will be broken
and connected to the main axis.
We can move it
to a new position.
However,
we need to
change the name of the view.
For example,
we need to change the name
from A to B.
We also need to
move the cut surface
to another position.
The Break Alignment command
will break the connection
between
the main axis
and the main axis.
I have just broken
the cut surface
compared to the main axis.
After breaking it
with the Break Alignment command,
I can move it to a new position.
The next command is
the crop command.
For example,
I want to show
only the right side
of this view.
I will use
the crop command
and draw a rectangle.
The lines
inside the rectangle
will be shown
and the lines
outside the rectangle
will be hidden.
The lines
outside the rectangle
will be hidden.
Only the lines
inside the rectangle
will be shown.
The next command is
the crop command.
I want to show
only the right side
of this view.
I will use
the crop command
and draw a rectangle.
The lines
inside the rectangle
will be shown
and the lines
outside the rectangle
will be hidden.
