Anyone that has a slight understanding of Chinese history would know much warfare exists in the five thousand years history of her civilization. As such, Chinese poetry, like any other poetry, as an expression of one’s emotional or philosophical ideals, speaks plenty on the theme of warfare, perhaps even more so than others.
