How to make grape leaf from wood, wood carving

Hello everyone, friends, I drank a grape leaf with a lobster, it will be done as a gift in the form of a plate or a small tray, why so, because I will not cut it as a full-fledged grape leaf, and in the middle I will make a selection so that you can throw some small things here, for example, coins or even small sweets, nuts, something like that. Now I will go through here with a cutter, separate the branch from the leaf, lower it a little and make a selection in the center of the leaf. So, for now, everything is with the front side, I turn to the back side, I will cut it neatly so that it seems thinner. Here the branch prevents me from picking up the back side normally, so I will immediately round it a little. Now, at a slight angle, I will cut off the sharp edges with a straight chisel at a slight angle, and here I will make small holes. I applied the sealant, I used the TIG color, I pulled it off with fine sandpaper, I would even say so already rubbed. Now I will still apply the varnish, about 2 times, maybe 3, and the leaf will be ready. I remove with a sponge the moisture that has formed from the varnish, here I will remove it and then I will apply another layer.
