Unboxing Awesome Handmade Shields (Thanks, Vaughn!)

All right, we've got stuff to unbox. Suspiciously shaped stuff. From my patron Vaughn in Tasmania. He made things for us. You'll see what they are. I mean, as you can't guess already. What could this possibly be? An AC, a giant pancake, or a stack? He is officially Mr. Nice Guy on the Patreon channel, so if anybody can make pancakes for you, it's going to be him. I don't think they would taste very good anymore. No, by the time they arrive, probably not. But he has sent Australian snacks before. Yes. Yeah, certainly somebody got us hooked on that damn Vegemite. Yes, that's not a staple here. I haven't found Vegemite here, but Marmite, which is close enough. I'm pretty sure this is going to start a war in the comments. It might, yeah. How dare you? How dare you say that? It's not the same at all. It's completely different. It tastes pretty similar to me. Except Marmite is kind of more, I don't know, creamier? It's almost caramel-like in consistency, I mean, this is going to take a while. I'm actually amazed that they let the stuff set like this. Yeah, like this was not a box. Well, apparently they don't care. There might have been like some charges for like, it's not stackable or whatever, you know. It's fairly stackable, they're flat enough. I think so, but the postal service here, that is clearly yours with that obnoxious neon green color. Face off, it's beautiful. I mean, can you see a pattern? Yeah, where do I put a sticker? Let me just shove it somewhere. Right, and all the way around. Also, you should be happy. The pants are too tight, I can't get the clip on. Oh, good enough. You were saying? It's blue on the other side. Huh, interesting. That's a very well-covering paint then. That's a very cute travel wrap. I know, he asked me, we designed that together. Look, he put a little white around the black so it sticks out even more. That looks really good. I love that he didn't flinch away from making this super unorthodox shade for me. Oh, right, it's not round. It's not round. And it's not fully oval, it's just weird. I don't know what it is. It's roval. It's a roval shield. I have a butt guard. Yeah, that's about big enough. Okay, I put myself up for that one. No, you have your booty in a good kind of way. I know, I know, I'm thick. Yes, thick with 2C. Am I glad that you're not one of those people who would totally get in trouble for saying that? I like a joke at your expense. I mean, okay, it depends on what it is. I'm pretty sure, depending on what people's opinion is, that wasn't on my expense. No, no, it wasn't intended. It was credit. I'm just going to run around with that for my damn bag of money. Oh yeah, that's my green right here. He knows us. Oh yeah, there we are. My Odin's raven shield. That is a very well shaped center grip right here. Let's check that out. Check the stitching on that. Yeah, that is, I mean, he went through the trouble of stitching it all through. I've never done that with a shield. Whenever I made a shield, I was like, I'm just going to glue it, whatever. But that's original. They did that. Wow, you know how he is. You don't get anything made by Vaughn and it isn't 120%. Yeah, yeah, Vaughn really pours his soul into the stuff he makes. So even more reason to appreciate it. Thank you so much. This is really freaking awesome. Really appreciate it. There's a butt shield. Well, mine has the strap. Yours? Yeah, you've got the, you've got a booty buckler. It's a bit more than a buckler. Yeah, yeah, it's, it is a small shield. It could be a, no, it's too large for a buckler. It's a booty shield. I would actually say it's a small shield. It's made for a small person. Oh, right. This is the one that he, um, that he tapered, I think. He mentioned he wanted to shave one down towards the edges, which is what they, what they did on historical Viking shields. So it's thinner here than it is in the center. It's super thin. And it's balanced a bit differently. It's way lighter than it normally would be for this size. And, uh, damn, that is, that is real nice. Seriously, it's not that small a shield. Look at me. It covers me from chin to my legs. That's about the size that you have covered from yours too. Yeah. Why would I, I mean, seriously, if I grab yours in comparison, this is how much I I mean, it's, I mean, it's a bit too large for you. Yes. But there were some fairly large ones. So yeah, if you, if you compare the difference in weight, it's substantially lighter. Like this is fine. Um, you're going to need to use it, but it's, it's quite a bit heavier than that one. I do wonder if you estimated me larger than I am. This is a lot of strap for me. Well, I mean, it's better to have more than obviously enough. Closer. It would protect my back. Not just my butt. You are good. Yeah. Definitely protects me. Okay. This is brilliant. It's really a science thing because yours is from the back of your head to slightly underneath your butt. My butt just about sticks out underneath my shoe. It's the same level of cover. If I hold it up there. It can be turtles now. I mean, just imagine fighting like this. I do you want an arrow in the back? No, exactly. This is really cool. They're so awesome. Hey, I got the only nipple. Yeah, that's right. You have a nipple on there. Thank you so much. Super awesome. These are really, really well made and they look cool. I can, I can actually, I can triple shield. Now I can put one on the back full turtle mode. I'm a one man testudo. Come at me, bro.
