The Father and His Sons | Kids Storytime English | kids Cartoon | English Cartoon | kids

Once upon a time in a quiet village, there lived an old farmer with three sons. His sons were always fighting over land, animals, even small things like who would light the fire. So the wise farmer decided to teach them a lesson. He called them together and said, break this bundle of sticks. The eldest son pulled and twisted, but the bundle did not break. The second son tried, but he could not break it either. Finally, the youngest son gave it a try, but it was still unbroken. Then the farmer untied the bundle and gave them the sticks one by one. Now break them, he said, and snap, crack. Each stick easily broke. The farmer smiled and said, alone you are like one stick, easy to break, but together you are strong. The sons realized their fighting had been foolish. From that day on, they worked together, shared their chores, and took care of their father. The farm flourished, and so did their bond. Even after the father passed away, the sons remembered his words, unity is strength.
