Baby Orangutans Learn How to Crack Coconuts

Orangutans are large primates of the hominid family, living mainly in the tropical forests of Borneo and Sumatra. They have large bodies, arms longer than their legs, characteristic reddish-brown fur and intelligent faces. Orangutans live mainly in trees, are very good at climbing, and move by swinging on branches. They eat fruits, leaves, bark and sometimes insects. Orangutans are highly intelligent, can use tools, learn and remember well. This species lives alone, except for mothers and young.
