She said the album's color would be "blue" a few years ago so maybe now she feel it more colorful 😍
Hey guys, it's Selena Gomez and this is Z100 Fan Interview.
Yeah.
Right?
I'm gonna get into your questions now.
Describe yourself as an emoji.
And it's at a dazzling lover. I love that.
An emoji? Let's see. Probably this one.
Just about everything. Even if it's good and I forget something or I'm not mindful or just in general every day.
I'll ask something or people will say, what's this? And it just always leads to that one.
So that would be me in a nutshell.
So, describe the album in three words.
At Selena Brina.
Oh, that's cute.
Three words.
Mystical.
There are a lot of sounds that I love.
And in some of the songs, that's my favorite part.
The words are incredible and every single song on the album means something.
It's not just a one-off. Like, oh, this song's fun.
It's actually personal and even if it is fun, the lyric content is great.
So I'd say mystical, confident, vibrant.
Yeah. I'm gonna go with that.
I could do this all day. I like this stuff.
If you could assign a color to this next album era, what would it be?
Okay. At Hold On To Swift.
Let's see.
Color.
Maybe orange-y, yellow-red-ish?
It's kind of all one thing, I guess, but I don't know.
Everything I've been, even on my little Instagram, I've been doing those kind of colors that gravitate towards me.
So I'd say that.
I don't know if that means anything, but y'all will let me know, so.
Okay, what is your goal for 2020?
At Camillizer Tito.
My goal?
Just to remain solid this year.
Because I know I am getting back into all of this stuff,
and it's extremely important for me to stay healthy and reminded that this is all wonderful
and a part of my life that I'm super passionate about.
But also just remembering that, you know, taking moments.
Sitting outside for a while and with my friends and just being present.
And my grandparents stay with me, so even home-cooked meals.
And sitting down at the table, which is what we do, and a lot of people don't do that anymore.
That stuff means a lot to me.
So, just probably to be focused and more aware.
And stay strong.
Stay normal.
Whatever that means.
What do you, what do your family and friends think about the new music at Hottie GMC?
Thank you.
You know, I actually didn't play a lot of the music for people in my life right away.
And I intentionally did that because I didn't want any other opinions.
I wanted to see what I genuinely felt.
Not that my friends were like, well, you should change this.
It's just I needed to figure out if it was making sense in my mind.
And then when I finally did, I have different,
and not friend groups because everybody knows each other in my life.
But, you know, even just playing it for some of my New York friends.
And playing it with my family or my friends directly in L.A.
It's been really special.
They've seen so much of it.
And when they hear a song, I love seeing them figure it out.
And then they'll think about the moments that I'm sharing.
So, this one they're really proud of.
You know, and that meant the world to me.
Because I wanted it to also be the best stuff that I'd ever done.
And I know people say that, but I busted my ass to make sure that every single song mattered.
And it does.
And I just want you to hear it now.
I'm just ready for it all to be out, which will be soon.
Thanks, guys.
