Slow Living in Sicily | What I Found in a Hidden Village
#SilentVlog #SlowLiving #DigitalDetox #italy
In this silent vlog of slow living, I take you with me on a slow escape through the heart of Sicily. I begin the day in Caltavuturo, waking up in an old house with wide windows and views over the quiet hills. I spend the early morning on the balcony, watching nature stir in the distance, and enjoying a traditional Madonie pastry: lo sfoglio.
From there, I head to the medieval village of Gangi, a place of winding stone streets, stunning viewpoints, and glimpses of Mount Etna far on the horizon. It’s a day spent walking, breathing deeply, and reconnecting with a slower rhythm, far from city noise.
Back home, the day closes with golden light and a balcony sunset, the sun sinking behind the mountains. It's a kind of stillness that’s hard to find in cities, where the sky is hidden by tall buildings.
I'll also give you a tour of an old house made from furniture from a long time ago and with tiny windows that look out onto nature.
This video is a pause, a space to slow down and breathe.
