Journey across the sea to see Shen Yun before Mother's Day!

My name is Moon, I am 10 years old. On the occasion of my mother's birthday - Mother Huyen Bi - on May 9, and on the occasion of Mother's Day - May 11, I would like to share some of my feelings about the very special trip to the beautiful country of Taiwan with my mother.

At the moment I got on the plane, I was very excited because this was the first time I hag gone abroad with my mother, and especially to see the world's No. 1 performing arts company, Shen Yun, perform live at the theater.

My mom prepared everything very carefully: clothes, suitcases, Shen Yun items such as silk scarves or jewelry, handbags, inspired by the performances of Shen Yun - the art company that tours the world every year!

When I arrived in Taipei, everything was so beautiful. The streets were clean, the sky was blue. I made pineapple cakes for my mother with my own hands. We visited the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, where we took some beautiful photos.

My mother was outstanding wearing a Shen Yun scarf called Heavenly Melody Silk Scarf - The Pipa, and I tied a purple silk scarf around my neck named Twilly.

At Shifen Old Street, we wrote beautiful messages on the sky lanterns to send to all places, hoping that everyone would live Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, sincerely reciting the nine golden words Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance is good.

The most special thing was that in the afternoon, we got to see Shen Yun. The international standard theater was so big and magnificent. When I watched the dances, dramas, and solo singing within the live music played by Shen Yun artists in front of the stage, along with Shen Yun's patented 3D digital backdrop, I felt like I was traveling to an ancient world, lost in divine stories. I was so happy to be sitting next to my mother in such a special moment.

It was a trip that I will remember forever – because I got to be with my mom, and see her radiant beauty.

Mom, I hope you are always healthy and happy, and every year before your birthday, we can go to a country to see Shen Yun :).
