In the final round of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson 2025, Scottie Scheffler turned in an 8-under 63 to finish at 31-under for the tournament, tying the PGA TOUR record-low score for 72 holes (253), en route to an eight-stroke win and his 14th victory of his PGA TOUR career.
This is well left of it might need to get down.
Comes back for him.
He'll have a birdie putt at the first,
albeit from a long distance.
Him and his coach, Randy Smith,
had a nice little pep talk before
he headed to the T, and he's going
to go out there and see how many
he can win by. Steady start.
Scott should be a four.
Even when Tiger Woods was winning
all those tournaments in the early
2000s, even the Masters in 97 by
wide margins, his philosophy was
go out there and extend the lead.
So I think to Colt's point,
there's definitely not a hole
on this front side. He hasn't.
Hey. Starts left fading with the wind,
beautiful. Hugging that left side of the family.
There it is, and he's so good this week.
He's really found something that
we've seen in the past.
Of course, it's taken to the top of
the world rankings that we might
not have seen yet this year.
Confidence and just knowing your
game is right where it needs to be,
and it's easy to.
It's easy to mistake.
Target left where he was looking.
You knew it. Look at that.
So far left.
Well. 24 under.
Johnson, what do you make of what
we've seen thus far from Scotty?
Now she's going to get to 25 under par.
Yep. Third birdie on the round today
with one bogey that coming at the 3rd.
Yeah, this is solidly shrugged.
Should be just fine.
Yeah, it's an excellent shot.
So he's played this stretch 6 through
to 9 as we go back to the 6th hole.
And here is Sheffler with his second.
Can he do the same?
Little juice. Here it comes.
He's been so good from that
distance all week. Brilliant shots.
The guys chasing him playing
some great golf today.
Easy birdie there for Scotty.
And that makes it three in a row.
And that's an 8 iron on the way for Scotty.
Front left hole location and
that gets a nice little hop.
And Sheffler will have another chance
for Birdie to get to 27 under par.
Little left to right pot here.
Another one.
Sheffler takes it to 27 under par.
Then mostly left or right here.
Scotty is four under on this whole this week.
Just gonna have some work to do
if he wants to get to 5.
That's going to find the fairway bunker.
That's three iron.
Wow, does this look good in the air?
Absolutely sensational.
Once again, putting on a
clinic with every shot.
Continue that streak of birdie or
better on every par five this week.
How about that?
Absolutely perfect strike.
You kidding me? Are you kidding me?
Or as can be.
How good was that the entire journey?
It's machine like.
Narrower fairway this year.
Dottie lost it right yesterday
and I believe he did again today.
Did in fact most of these fairways
are something about 68 yards
narrower than a year ago.
You know my ball striking is
coming around at a really nice time.
I felt like I've just been progressing
each week since the surgery and so
hopefully I can have a good week next
week and you know maybe go to the PGA
and see if I can keep up with this guy.
But that's been hard to do.
Well, it was fun to watch today,
Jordan and we'll see you next week.
Thanks Elena. Appreciate it, Andrew.
Manda thanks and that 62 ties
his career low in a final round.
30 under nice round number.
That needs to keep moving to the right.
Colton it is. This is at the
very left side of the green.
No, let up. Well done, great spot.
Now Scotty, what kind of noise
can he put up for us?
Gonna try to open it up and land on
the green with some spin, but he missed a spot.
That's 5 iron for Scotty, and if
it's the number it's all over it.
Good looking swing, good looking shot.
It'll come back. Come on back now.
The clinic continues for Scotty Sheffler.
Is this guy for real, Andrew?
Just the shot that was called for.
Hey, bring it home now.
Not a lot of drama today,
but it sure is fun to watch.
Can he add to his birdie total here?
Yes, he can. Perfect grip speed.
32 under par. And if he pars out,
he'll set the PGA Tour record.
He ties the record.
Full circle for Sheffler.
Scotty wins for the first time this year,
and it comes in the event he attended as a kid.
Wyatt a Wya.
