It wasn't far away, Tielemans wants a corner. Referee signalling goal kick. What a wonderful effort for Uri Tielemans. Just waiting for the net to bulge there. Cash makes a move ahead of him, Kounta still hangs on to it. And picks out, Matty Cash, it's a good ball and a good run. Cash with the cross! Oh, Watkins got underneath his feet! What a chance that was, he kind of got underneath Watkins' feet. From Cash's crossing from the Villa right-hand side. Well, it's a close down by Iwobi, who gets a toe-in and Fulham are in possession. Iwobi again with another cross in there, Lucas with a touch in there, Robinson's in there, it might come towards Session, appeals for handball, and the ball's gone in the far side! Now VAR will be called into action here. Ryan Session is away celebrating what he thinks is an equaliser, but already Robert Jones has blown the whistle and said it's handball. It is a handball, it is a free-kick, it is 1-0 to Aston Villa. Forward he goes up towards Rodgers, oh, he's tackled out by Bessie again there, but Bessie's got away from him, he rolls the ball in, looking for Ali Watkins now. Ali Watkins for Aston Villa in front of the holes, and oh, it's saved! By the legs of Bernd Leno. Collected by Morgan Rodgers, in towards Amadou Anana again, back to Rodgers again, fires the cross into the near post, and it just goes wide, both sides are appealing, Villa want the corner, but it's a goal kick and nothing else. And Villa nearly, very nearly, opened up Fulham again. Here's Amadou Anana for Ross Barkley, in towards Ramsey, it's a great ball, great touch from Marlon as well, Daniel Marlon! Oh, it's off the bar and out! Another chance, and this time it's the woodwork that saves Fulham. Bernd Leno beaten all ends up, the underside of the bar, keeps it out and keeps it 1-0 to Aston Villa.
