Amitabh is so lucky to have jaya ji..despite all of his repeated infidelity she stood by him through everything even his near death accident. A lady with great dignity, integrity and resilience. Her record is crystal clear and nobody can point fingers at her for cheating or doing g anything inappropriate.

First, and most importantly, the Almighty. My parents, who was a great encouragement to me.
After that came Satyajit Ray, who was a great influence. Again, a father-like figure.
Who I miss greatly. Who would have been very happy today. And that's Rishikesh Mukherjee.
The most important man in my life, Amitabh Bachchan. Whatever little I am today,
that's because of him. He gave me home. My own home. It's been one of my most proud possessions.
Gave me two wonderful children, Shweta and Abhishek. Very happy to be a mother-in-law
to Nikhil, who's been a wonderful son-in-law. And I have been offered this award earlier,
but I did not accept it because the time I felt was not right. But today I'm going to
be a mother-in-law all over again to a wonderful, lovely girl, who has great values,
has a great dignity, and a lovely smile. I welcome you to the family. I love you.
