Lovebirds - Andrew Higgins

This piece is from Andrew Higgins' collection of piano etudes called Birds: Études-Tableaux (I previously played Hummingbird). The songs in the collection are meant to support training with an emphasis on sound technique and musicality. One reviewer said of the collection, "Birds: Études-Tableaux is a rather perfect embodiment of these combined ideals – a cycle of pieces which are rich in imagination while underpinned by solid pedagogic value."
