[ IN COLOR ] Marilyn Monroe Singing Happy Birthday / President John F Kennedy 1962
May 4, 2025 #johnfkennedy #marilynmonroe
Marilyn footage singing to JFK on his gala birthday bash on May 19th 1962. The running joke for the evening, as planned, was that Marilyn was late! it was planned that way for the event. Everything we see Marilyn do on stage was rehearsed right down to her arm movements and jumping up and down at the end of the song as we can see in the rehearsal photos before the event. so Marilyn did this spot on as planned.

Mr. President, on this occasion of your birthday, this lovely lady is not only punctitudinous, but punctual.
Mr. President, Marilyn Monroe.
Perhaps there has been no one female who meant so much, who has done more than this.
Mr. President, the late Marilyn Monroe.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, Mr. President.
Happy birthday to you, President.
For all the things you've done, the battles that you've won,
the way you deal with U.S. deals and our problems by the time we thank you so much.
Everybody, happy birthday.
Retire from politics after having had a happy birthday sung to me in such a sweet, open way.
