Many states across the country are now looking at different ways to eliminate or significantly reduced property taxes after it has now becoming a significant financial burden for many American households. There is such a backlash against property taxes in the United States going back to the 1970s when California passed proposition 13. People are tired of overpaying and getting little to no extra services or amenities for their money.
