母親節鄰近，在台灣，應景的花卉康乃馨，60%都是產自彰化田尾，花農表示，由於氣候原因，導致產量減少2成以上，導致價格上漲。而「田尾鄉農會」每年也都舉辦推廣活動，期望刺激康乃馨的買氣。
