City Into Third Straight FA Cup Final! | Nottingham Forest 0-2 Man City | Emirates FA Cup 2024-25

Nardo Silva setting the tempo for Manchester City and here's Savino now Little touch from Rico Lewis Now Kovacic A little driving run from him and here's Lewis! ...to City How clinical was this? Kovacic with the run and Lewis with two sublime touches The first out of his feet, the second fired into the bottom corner Advantage City Couldn't really build on that early goal Now what can Hudson-Odoi do? Alanga, just on with a massive chance! First touch in the game for Anthony Alanga Thrown on at the start of this second half and nearly pays instant dividend and it should have done It's a big miss that Lewis Lewis just keeps going, Sells with a decent stop there Nunez on the overlap His drive pushed away and Kovacic deflects it! City think there was a hand Zach Abbott, Sells makes the save Either way it's a corner He'll just check the hand but nothing doing He's lucky I think, Zach Abbott Anyway they have a corner Marmouche to take And Vardy on to make it two! They were not to be denied It's a magnificent header It's the kind of situation that Forrest have defended all season long but not there It's a great climb Third And they'd be there Marmouche is greelish And now Marmouche once again! And Sells keeps Forrest in it Reached up to turn this away That was a little loose and now It's Alanga who can seize on it, he has certainly given them impetus Here's Woods Alanga again And this is Gibbs-White! Who is desperately unlucky What a sweet strike this is And how close it was to 2-1 This just agony Still full of energy, Nicolás Dominguez to close down Vardy-El does so effectively Gibbs-White! This time he should score Just couldn't control it Another influential He might manage to top it with a goal but Cleared away So much confidence Nearly leads to a third Forrest still push impressively Alanga once more, just too much on that Aweni! Here comes Gibbs-White! Ortega pushes it away They hit the woodwork for a third time in the second half This time Taiwo Aweni Almost off his heel And then Ortega with the save and The game rather gets away from Forrest
