Ninh Binh Trip

Trang An. In the early morning. Light mist covering the green water. We didn't know where this road would take us. The girl. Emma leans her head on the boys. Liam. Shoulder. The boat slowly drifts between towering limestone cliffs. Sunlight shines through the water cave. Whispered dialogue. Emma. This feels like another world. Liam. Smiling. Let's get lost in it. The couple cycling through vast golden rice fields. The wind blew hard. The girl spread her arms to catch the wind. Her skirt fluttered lightly. They stopped by an ancient pagoda. Bai Dinh Pagoda. Admiring the giant Buddha statues. In Ninh Binh. Time slows down. And every breath feels like a gift. They climb the stone steps to the top of Hang Mua. The girl was tired. Sat down. The guy pulled her hand and smiled encouragingly. They took the last steps together to the top. Liam. Breathing heavily. Smiling. Worth every step? Emma. Smiling brightly. Every single one. Both of them stand on the top of the mountain. Behind them is the entire Ninh Binh field spreading out under the red orange sunset. They hug each other. Smiling brightly. Maybe love isn't about reaching the destination. It's about finding someone who walks with you. Sitting together in a small restaurant. Lanterns sparkling. Eating burnt rice. Drinking sugar cane juice. Exchanging loving glances. They release flower lanterns on the river. Here. In a corner of Vietnam. We found a little more of ourselves.
