I've been watching a pair of Bewick's Wren build a nest in a birdhouse in my front yard. Then I found a tiny egg shell and began watching the birdhouse more closely. Yes, all day long, one or both of the little birds kept flying in and out with insects in their beaks.

Unfortunately, the gray kitty from across the street was also watching them. I've put more cat food in the dish by the sidewalk and am keeping an eye on her. So far, so good.
