Enjoy the simple stuff because the simple stuff makes it what it is.
Whether you like sunrises or sunsets, the simple things are truly the best things
that life has to offer and having that someone to share them with makes them
better. I think I just want to point out how beautiful this property is and how
much work had to be put into it by the the Rum Rules, the Wurst, and the Hope
family to make this happen tonight so I think they deserve a special thank you.
So it's hard to believe that was six years ago. Six years ago it seems like a
long time but it also feels like it was just yesterday. What's harder to believe
is that means we met when we were 22 years old and I don't know how I lived
the first 22 years of my life without you. You're a sister to me and someone to
call during minor inconveniences and also those monumental life changes. We
shared it all together over the past six years. Andrew, A-dub, Wurst, Wurstie Daddy,
and best known as Harry Dada in the Wurst family. And now newly to me,
husband. What a magnificent day it is today. I want us to take a deep breath
together and look at these beautiful people who have gathered today to
celebrate us.
Mackenzie, from the moment I met you I immediately fell in love with your
radiant beauty, your loving personality, and your drive and passion for life. Our
journey hasn't always been the easiest but I thank God he brought you back to
Oregon that summer to study for your CPA exams. You've always been tenacious in
the things you pursue. My baby girl is now married to Andrew. Thanks Andrew and
your family for accepting her into your lives.
Many of them who anticipated you and I would be here today together. While this
celebration might just be getting started, the rest of our wedding day is
about to fly by. So let's just be right here where our feet are for the rest of
the night. Oh my gosh, you look unbelievable. I knew there would be more
laughs than I could ever imagine and I should probably just start skipping abs
at the gym because of how much you make me laugh. I knew there would be big
manly hugs just like my dad's that would have me feeling safe and at home. And I
knew there would never be a garage sale left unattended.
You ready? I'm ready. Let's do it. I love you. I love you too.
Mackenzie, I pledge to always love you, to defend you, to set you apart from all
others. I pledge to build this life with you, to encourage you, and to cherish you.
I even promise to get up and get your water for you even if I had just sat
down. And I promise to try and not be as hard on you when you make an error and
pick a hole. It is a joyful privilege to become your wife today, Andrew, and I'm so
blessed I get to be the girl that gets to fill your heart that I was once so
curious about for the rest of our lives. Love, Mack Daddy. You're my best friend,
my confidant, and my life companion. I love you and I can't wait to spend the
rest of my life with you. You're very intentional with Mackenzie, you're very
bold, and I just think that shows a lot about your character and about the man
you are, the friend you are, and husband now to Mackenzie. So I want to applaud
you for that, definitely. This ring I give as a token of my love and commitment before God to you.
You two have found a bond that is something very admirable. Your love story
is just the beginning and I'm so excited to see where life takes both of you.
Andrew, you are the luckiest man in the world that she is now yours.
Cheers to Andrew and Mack. I'm so proud to be marrying Andrew and I hope you're
just as proud of that man as well. We have had so many great memories with you
and the rest of our family and I look forward to many more to come. While today
might be my last day as a Rumrel, it's not really my last. I am always a Rumrel.
Mom, thank you so much for always supporting me. I love you so much and I
want you to know that you are one of the biggest influences on my life.
