week in my life in nyc: hair transformation, trying on stagecoach outfits, cozy at home

That's going to go up in the 80s a lot of us by Saturday not a whole lot of rain over the next seven days. We'll highlight where that chance is going to happen 56 still right now mostly clear winds are light 63 was the high that is what we have so we finally felt like in the middle of April Hello guys good morning what's up welcome back to another week in my life in New York City. I was just in Charleston this past weekend visiting a friend that's finishing up law school there and just wanted us to come visit her before she moves and oh my god we went I love Charleston it was just the best vibes I left in the best mood the best laughs and I just feel so grateful that we got to do that and now it's Monday and I had a really nice morning getting work done clearing my inbox just unpacking you know that kind of vibe and I'm about to do a workout session with my trainer Jane we're doing like strength training and I just got this set in the mail I must have given four three seven my address a while ago and oh my god this appeared at my door I love this color like I didn't think I would really like it it's also probably because I still have a tan like a spray tan so it makes everything look a lot better but guys the detailing in the back are we kidding are we kidding it's so good and there's a built-in bra like I'm obsessed and I really I just love tank tops with like this like is this a square neck tank top perhaps a cami but yeah so I'm gonna wear this to the gym because I feel good in it and then they also said I haven't tried this on yet they also sent this long sleeve which is also a square neck so it's perfect over top this set oh it's nice buttery material too so we're gonna try this on because I usually like to start off my workout with a tank or a long sleeve or one of those workout jackets at first to kind of warm up because you know it gets a little chilly it's so freaking freezing in New York I'm unsure why but whatever okay this is adorable this feels like very much so a pilates princess outfit and I'm doing strength training but I don't think we're doing much jumping either way I feel protected even if I do jump so we're gonna go work out and then I have a ton of stagecoach outfits that I want to try on because I'm going to stagecoach in two weeks and Coachella just happened so now I'm motivated to like get my looks together so we'll do a little a trial if you will because I've got all kinds of outfits but can't have judgment because I'm just going to put on things that I think might look good and yeah let's go get a good workout in also I'm trying out the hand chain life I've had this hand chain from electric pics for months now and I just never put it on and Brooke like loves hers wears hers and obviously Danielle and Bridget the philong twins wear theirs all the time and it really is such a beautiful accessory to have on and I'm loving it like I just sleep in it too because if I don't sleep in it then I'm not gonna put it on every day but it really is such a beautiful like delicate little accessory also I have you guys this blanket it is from Lola blankets it reminds me of the minky couture blanket but honestly they keep being sold out in any color I want I have the black minky couture blanket in my living room but I love to cozy up at night with a blanket like that's soft because obviously I have this bedding but it's linen and it's not super soft by any means I definitely have this for the looks this is parachute bedding I'm such a Brooklyn and girly because it's their stuff is so comfortable but this parachute one is just such a vibe like I need Brooklyn in to come out with this color so I can switch back like I'm not I'm not obsessed with Brooklyn and I just I love this color so anyways with that being said I want something soft to cozy up with at night and I literally slept with this over top of me like it's so good this is Lola blankets and I love this brown color I think this is in the color driftwood I think it's but it doesn't feel like it's just it's just a nice weight anyways okay let's go work out I told Jane that I want to try and do a push-up so she's gonna try and help me guys we have a rollout plan for me to do push-ups back from my workout and I strategically scheduled my whole foods grocery delivery for right after I was done and I'm really happy so I'm unboxing all of this before I take a shower little haul for you guys I love these hummus little snack packs like they're just little single packets of hummus because I don't know why I get really grossed out by the big hummus things like I always get them and then like after using them once I don't know why it grosses me out to open it up and like there's all these craters in it of like past hum I don't know so I like having individuals it's just my preference I like to dip carrots so I have some baby carrots in my fridge right now I'm almost done with them these carrot sticks are really great also I love these sugar snap peas so much I'm gonna make dinner for Ryan and I tonight and I haven't made this in a while I'm gonna do my tomato cucumber salad with the chicken situation so I got cucumbers tomatoes and then red onions apples a great snack I've been craving these I love peanut butter pretzels they're just so good two things of kombucha we have lemon berry and gingerade it's just really nice in wine glasses it's a vibe my favorite little sourdough bread it's just like three ingredients really great they changed their packaging though I'm noticing I always like to have some taco seasoning on hand so I got a couple so that if I get ground meat in the future I have some taco seasoning green beans because another one of my favorite meals is green beans and these meatballs and sauce hard-boiled eggs I don't know what happened I must have already had butter in my cart like I don't know why I got so many butters I feel like I just ordered this I'm a little confused this is my half and a half for my coffee cottage cheese thank you someone for noticing so I was saying I think I like the white low-fat cottage cheese over the blue and this is literally so dumb of me I just didn't read I guess this is organic and I'm realizing I like the white better and it must be because it's organic because the blue isn't like it just has a different taste and I like this one better strawberries and then my chicken breast tenders that I heat up and put on top of my tomato cucumber salad so that is my grocery haul I'm gonna put all this away and don't mind all the clothing in the background that is a ton of stuff that I've pulled out of my closet for stagecoach and some things I've ordered and I'm gonna do a little try on as I told you guys before but that's why it's so hectic back there okay I'm feeling like this outfit is just a no it's cute like I like the idea tank says shotgun rider I obviously did a little makeup and stuff too so I could really see if I like the outfit but this tank is from revolve it just says shotgun rider and then I have this skirt that is from cedrus here I have some brown cowboy boots why are these dirty where the heck did I wear these these takovas these are takovas I'm like where did I wear these that I got them like genuinely maybe I wore these in jackson hole yes they're my jacks I like how they're super worn though honestly just a little too short like I wish my skirt hit a little bit above so you could see the boots more yeah this look is just not for me but we tried I'm liking this option because I know I can dance in it this is a good sunday like jam into luke combs outfit shirt is revolve shorts are from Abercrombie curve love takovas boots and then amazon cowboy hat and sunglasses it's really comfortable some people might hate the shorts but I like this option this outfit I think is wishful thinking but I am obsessed with it because like the elements are there the black and brown the top I just don't know if I like trust it but it's so cute also like tights am I gonna die wearing tights in the desert also it's ripped oh my god I just I'm feeling like it's too much but maybe one day I'll be able to wear it's from the brand Lamarck I forgot if I said that it's so cute put on a similar pair of black shorts and this Coors tea from revolve boots these are dolce vita hat same hat which is from I need to say lack of color I like this because it's like the tea kind of balances out the short shorts but the tights are really throwing me off and I just I don't think I want to wear the shorts without tights here's another option it's definitely more cool girl energy like more Coachella probably you guys know I love baggy jeans in a corset but this corset top from Danielle Gizio it's it's camo like how fun is that and these sunglasses are from key like I feel like this would just be such a vibe but also I don't know is it stagecoach enough does the hat make it too much I'm just letting you guys know I am 1000% wearing this outfit like I love it it's this whole muumuu moment like this hat is gonna be so good by the pool too because it's like bucket hat material but you can pin it up so it's a cowboy hat and then you can unpin it and it's you know like this vibe like by the pool but I just I love this I've been eyeing this for so long it had to happen white tank this is a muumuu skirt so cute my muumuu bag black don't you be the boots like this is so me it will be worn I'm obsessed here is my last option it's very cute it's very girly which is different than my normal style I mean I do dress girly sometimes so actually what am I saying but you know what I mean like this is different than all the other outfits I showed both the gingham top and these little like eyelet short skorts are from jeffrey campbell white cowboy boots and then my white cowboy hat so all of these outfits are linked on my lta for you guys to check out I had so much fun trying on all these outfits and now I also did post an instagram reel and a tiktok so you guys can go vote your favorites I have like a couple like I know for sure I'm doing the muumuu but I need your help and now my apartment is even more of a mess because I've just been trying things on so I'm gonna do a 20 maybe 10 a 10 minute tidy if you will and then I have a call at 4 45 I just changed into a little white tee and my sweatpant jeans so I felt still kind of put together and comfortable it is nice having makeup on like clara just facetimed me I just felt 10 times cuter on our facetime because I had makeup on so there is something to be said about that but we're gonna make a little iced coffee I have an long team call for gals on the go related things so I'm gonna have a little decaf coffee so I use this wandering bear decaf cold brew and I took it out because I just didn't know how much was left I just feel so lucky that I get to experience cold brew in the way others do in a decaf form I literally ordered this on amazon too I love it oh my god I'm just letting it leak everywhere hi danielle oh there's still some left I thought that was gonna finish it off not at all okay then I'm gonna add ice oh I might need to go into a bigger cup I might need to do that because this isn't going to work they have this cute cup from amazon it's glass I'm just out here making a freaking mess I just wanted to be cute and for my next trick this stuff is seriously so good this is just the vanilla chobani creamer I did try the cookie dough one last summer and I did like it oh baby I make sure it's enough creamer because cold brew is definitely more bitter I feel like I think that's enough creamer heck yeah call is done and now I'm working on some homework that I have from the call whenever I have a call like that I try to just like go and do whatever they ask for right away so I don't put it off and forget it especially while it's like top of mind I am listening to this artist right now shallow shallow not sure how they pronounce it this music is such a vibe it's just vibey not really many words when I'm doing work that involves emails or writing or projects like I need something with a good beat that keeps me stimulated but also doesn't distract me and like these vibes are just so like spring summer like life is good I'm like riding along the highway like I just love it so I thought I'd shout out this artist specifically if you want to play their music while you're working so I'm just gonna do this a little bit longer and then I'm gonna start cooking okay Ryan's almost here I just tracked him and I got behind I wasn't I was like in a warp I wasn't looking at my phone and the clock it's a mess in here so I'd like to tidy up a little bit so let's do a five minute tidy homes Ryan just got here I love a flower delivery okay guys it's dinner time but first I'm gonna pour myself a little kombucha in a wine glass just to you know take the edge off no but for real I literally love it so much it's half the reason I buy it so I can have it at night it literally calms me down comment down below if you guys feel this way the way it like feels in your chest when you drink it similar to sparkling water vibes are officially right for dinner tonight we're doing tomato cucumber salad grape salad whatever you want to call it but there's no lettuce involved I love it so I'm gonna cut up all these tomatoes a red onion cucumbers too because it's for me and Ryan and then we've got the breaded chicken which I do that hack it's not as good as doing it yourself but it's what I had the capacity for and then the dressing I do apple cider vinegar and olive oil with Italian seasoning and like salt and pepper and it is so good so I'm gonna get to cooking or it's hopefully there's enough dressing good morning guys look at my hair I didn't sleep with sock curls or anything I'm obsessed getting Ryan's coffee going making some breakfast got my coffee in my GOTG mug this morning guys I got this set from Negative Underwear Kelly's been posting about it for honestly years and she said it's the softest thing ever and she's right she's totally right Pookie also just wore this set in a different color and it's so cute I slept so well in it it's not super heavy like I'm kind of upset like I can't even tell you how comfy it is it wasn't cheap so that's why I didn't buy it for so long but oh my god it's amazing big stuff big I just love these Tupperware because there's a cutting board on top so you can prepare your fruits on top put them in and then shut it Ryan turn around you look so handsome have a good day at work see you later Ryan just left I'm gonna go down to the gym and do a little tread and some weights I'm gonna try and do eight more push-ups with the like yoga block thing right here and then eventually like I was saying yesterday the goal is to put the yoga block to its side do push-ups hitting there and then get rid of it and then do a real push-up that's my new goal but Ryan is beyond yoga set let's go okie dokie you guys I just took a shower I didn't put on any makeup I was going to and then I got lazy um we're headed to do a series of events first things first we are headed to alteration specialists to get these hemmed I mean these were oh I don't even think I showed these to you guys this is the first outfit I tried on yesterday for stagecoach I think I'm for sure wearing it's these sick jeans that I've had my eye on for a year actually Amanda Pachula from Summerhouse I think wore them like in the last year and I needed them and so we found them they are so long on me like drowning long so we're gonna take these to alteration specialist and get those hemmed and then from there I'm going to do a hair appointment today's gonna be fun and different for me we're taking out my hair extensions and we're not putting them back in putting them in tomorrow don't get too excited yeah no I am loving my hair extensions but it is time to get new ones like the last time we did an install it was just getting a little bit messed up up here and I've had them in since August and it's April like it's time and I'm getting longer ones too and yeah it's a whole thing which we're doing tomorrow so I'll talk about that tomorrow but today we're taking my extensions out and coloring my hair today so probably just bring up the blonde a little bit more I I feel like my hair is getting a little ombre so I want to change that but I've been loving the more like honey golden blonde with the dark roots of course we're not doing anything crazy but yeah and then I'm gonna leave that my extensions in because tomorrow we're gonna go back and put them in just because taking out the extensions coloring your hair putting back the extensions coloring the extensions like it that is a 12-hour day and I just like I'm not built for it so I said I go to Roulon Salon in Lower East Side Mads does my color and Brett does my extensions and I said to them like look how can we make this like I just can't do this I can't do so we're splitting it up so today we're taking out the extensions and it'll be fun for one night I won't have extensions I wanted to go to a head spa and get like the full scalp detox situation because my scalp could use it but I'm also getting my hair colored and I asked Mads I was like I think I know the answer to this but could I go to the head spa she's like no like your cuticle won't have closed yet so but I'm just gonna like rub my head all night and just enjoy having a little less hair for one night and then tomorrow we're gonna go back and put them in so that's that and then from there my friend Alex just moved to the city and I literally still haven't seen her since she's moved here because I've been so busy so I'm gonna go pop by today and see her new apartment and then tonight Ryan and I are going to a comedy show so this is the fit this top is from the brand DL 1961 whatever that brand is and then jeans are Abercrombie of course and then I'm wearing these little cowboy boots I mean they're like little booties from Stodd mainly because when I go to this tailor they need to like have me wearing a pair of shoes that are similar to the height of you know where I want it to hit and I feel like I'll usually be wearing some form of boot with those jeans I'm gonna pack my bag these sunglasses are Amazon I've been loving Amazon sunnies recently I bought something at Free People Movement in Charleston and they gave me this adorable bag I love it a snack for the hair salon I'm also bringing my laptop like it's that kind of day also it's that kind of week so we're gonna pop these in as well oh I definitely need a jacket I think I'm gonna throw on a trench coat this is also Abercrombie and I think we'll be good to go all right let's do the day White Lotus season two is on I am so comfy I don't have extensions in like this is so nice I stopped and got a ice vanilla latte and I I'm just so happy like that was such a short hair appointment for me like 12 to 3 30 is a short one and that's because we just did color and he matched my new extensions to my hair today just to make sure and they're longer we're doing 22 inch but I think I'm gonna ask that we cut like at least two inches off because it's really long because I have a short torso but I am so content right now it hurts it doesn't hurt but you know what I mean I just put on a little bit of makeup and now I'm headed to my friend Alex's apartment to see her new apartment I'm so excited I'm gonna bring her a little something something I have like a candle I want to bring her and then she said she's gonna cook dinner for me and Delaney I'm like I'm not gonna stop you that's so nice and then I made up with Ryan at a comedy show so we have a fun night ahead look at this little chef over here what's for dinner tonight I'm literally so excited I feel so lucky you guys she just moved mind you I'm like not okay like seriously this is this candle I need this where is this from is a home goods find or Target it's beautiful I love this artwork over the bed or I keep saying over the bed over the couch also love how this couch you can like use that as like an L or a coffee table like that's nice so comfy love this tape like seriously a little martini table it's so good I'm obsessed I'm so happy for you this is Ryan was here oh my gosh I was signed up for a 7 30 housework class and I just I did not make it I am cramping so bad this morning and I know that cramps can be helped when you work out and it helps just to get moving but I just couldn't get out of fetal position it just wasn't happening and this Lola blanket you guys like it might be a little dangerous to sleep with because unfortunately like I don't want to get out of bed with this blanket on me I've been laying here closing my eyes unclosing my eye unclosing opening my eyes Ryan left like an hour ago feeling a little defeated but also listening to my body that's what I'm going with um but I do have therapy at 9 45 probably the earliest I've ever had therapy but it was like when I could fit it in my schedule with hers so I do need to get up this lethal combination of this negative underwear set and this Lola blanket is just gonna be an issue I need to get a Lola blanket for my house in Tampa like my family needs to experience this okay let's get up should we do the Mel Robbins five second rule basically at the after you count down from five you have to get up I think I'm gonna do it because I'm on camera you guys are watching me all right five four three two one we did it who's calling my phone who's calling my phone is it Stacy all right we're up I'm like not used to to no extensions it's crazy it feels so good I need to take advantage of this these are my last few hours without anything in my hair just finished therapy that was so nice I don't know I maybe I've done it like one other time where I took therapy from my couch like this in fetal position with my blanket we get on she's like you're so fresh-faced I was like yeah pretty much straight out of bed okay it's 10 38 at noon I am going to the Covette and Maine hair salon and Bray is putting my hair extensions in there Covette and Maine are the extensions that I have they're hand-tied he does this amazing install like I feel like it's kept my hair so healthy they invited me to and him to come into their salon studio and get them installed there and I'm getting 22 inch extensions um and they're beach wave I think they're called beach wave extensions I'm really excited about these because they are naturally wavy so like if you just let your hair air dry it's such a vibe like literal mermaid hair and my natural hair is wavy so I feel like it'll look good together hopefully but then you can also like style it to be not wavy of course so I am beyond myself excited to get these put in I'm a little nervous because we like he just like placed them in my hair yesterday just to like get the coloring right and they are long I may inquire about like he said we're gonna trim them but like I kind of want to trim them like a lot like three inches off because it was like I have a shorter torso but also it's a vibe for stagecoach like if I can just like get through stagecoach with some inches and then maybe I cut more off I don't know this is the thing with extensions is you can't it doesn't grow back anyways exciting day I'm gonna be there for a really long time yeah so I need to figure out food I'm gonna make some breakfast now maybe I'll order lunch there honestly POV you have an extensions appointment if you know you know you can be sitting there forever and I know we're filming so it might take even more so I'm eating some hard-boiled eggs bringing apples bringing my protein shake and my kombucha and I think I should be set I might get a coffee on my way there too I'm gonna have to pee like crazy actually this is gonna be a problem and I'm bringing my laptop because we're gonna be there for a while say goodbye to my hair a lot of people were saying you should keep it but also like I really do need to have them trim that the ends but you don't want it to be too blunt because then you can tell with the extensions it's such like a fine line like cuz I mean you have the extension extensions and it's like a healthy cut and then the rest of the hair so you kind of need it to be a little frayed I'm gonna ask him to just dust because we don't need any split ends but I did my makeup which I like never do for a hair appointment but I know we're filming this is my outfit these I'm obsessed with these ultra wide loose curved love jeans from Abercrombie I have them all linked on my LTK I'm just obsessed ballet flats are from Target shirt is also DL 1961 just like a different kind of cut but that same thick ribbed material I'm basically just copying yesterday's outfit in a different version and then added a belt today too this is from orium makeup looks good I'm happy with it sometimes my makeup doesn't hit I feel like it's hitting today anyways okay I'm so excited I'm like changing to my lounge where hair is so back we are so back I'm obsessed and I made myself some dinner my favorite one of my favorite meals to make other than the tomato cucumber salad green beans and Reyes meatballs three meatballs and some green beans and it's so good and I might make cookies for dessert extra vanilla if you know you know if you listen to the gals in the go you know that inside joke all the reasons I love gals in the go my podcast with Brooke it's just like a whole big inside joke and you're all in on it Cheers summer house new episode is on surely I'm watching it watching it live with commercials personally to not have seen my dog like Finley he hasn't seen me in four months I think the longest I've gone is three months four months is a lot but I plan to be going home a good amount this summer
